I agree with a lot of what your saying atlantis, but i have to disagree on the player development, because the examples you gave of Arteta, Klopp and pep making players world class needed time.
It was only the 3rd year of Arteta when Saka and Marinelli started to shine and they got even better the year after that which was last season
It also took klopp around 3 years for some of his players to start becoming world class except Coutinho ofcourse
What im trying to say is that this is only Ten Hag 2nd year i don't think its fair to judge his player development especially with all these problems he encountered with the club including Ronaldo, Sancho(we all know that Ten hag was right about Ronaldo now after Ole's interview) and even Rashford has been problematic, hes also had to deal with an injury crisis, having a terrible dof and ceo theres no manager right now in the world of football that has had to face the problems Ten Hag has had to face(not to mention the fact that the players are overpayed in terms of wages, which causes problems)
You can't tell me Pep or Klopp would finish top 4 with our current squad full of injuries, however i agree that Tactically Ten hag has underperformed this season but its also difficult to have tean cohesion if the starting 11 changes all the time due to injuries
And i don't think his player recruitment is that bad but its definitely not good, especially the loan deals but we have a terrible dof who didn't stop him which isn't much of his problem because he worked with a good dof at ajax and thats what made us thought Ten Hag was elite at player recruitment. So i think he needs a good dof and they will work well together
I think we should wait until the end of the season and asses the managers on the market, the only managers i would take over ten hag should he fail to deliver are (Naglesmann i have no concerns, maybe Inzaghi im just unsure about his youth development, maybe de zerbi but i don't think he'll be able to deal with the big egos, ill take emery aswell no concerns about him because he's so experienced and has adapted to the modern game despite beginning to manage in the 2000s, Alonso would never join us.
Those are my thoughts. im ten hag in, but ill wait until the end of the season to decide properly

@@foochuankean1120The only reason Ten Hag is so adamant on Antony playing over, let's say, Adam Diallo is because he knows that it will look very bad on his resume if Antony keeps being shit player for United, cause he's his player, him and Onana also. And I must say that I didn't see a single smart tactic from Ten Hag when we are in possession. He doesn't have any tactics it seems. We are getting battered and high pressed by teams that are on the second half of table. It's embarrassing and in the last few months I think I only watched like 4 full games cause we're SHITE.

After watching "How Inzaghi is Redefining Attacking Football" on another CZcams channel. Inzaghis philosophy, how Inter attack, interchange positions, how they defend. Inter is cooking this season as well. 69 goals and only 13 conceded this season in all competitions, most of all in top 5 league. My hope now is, if Ten Hag leaves, Inzaghi is the new manager at Manchester United.

@@AtlantisFootball So not the players that van gaal, mou, and ragnick couldnt improve/move on. Doesnt matter the recipe if all your ingredients are shit. Even if tenhag coaches them the players cant follow that. Ten Hag constantly says in the interiew/press conferences that the midfield needs to be calm and composed on the ball and pass the ball better and with intent every week but the players cant even do a 5 yard pass properly. You dont just learn composure and awareness which half of those players lack. Mainoo is the perfect example that you either have it or you dont. Tbh, Our problem is not totally the coach’s, because we have had a toxic team for years now. Last season ETH got it right Tactically, but he made a big mistake in the transfer window by not going for an actual midfielder and this season we are finding it hard to have a cohesive gameplay with Eriksen deteriorating. All these points down to our bad transfer system, not having a good DoF and co. Any coach you bring in to this United will not give you the title in 2 seasons. We also forget that TenHag won a trophy in his first season (no other Manchester United manager has ever managed this I think) and in an alternate universe, if ten hag remained at Ajax (and we kept OGS) he would be the most clamoured for replacement this season, Ajax have been terrible without him as their head coach. He is a top manager, we have just made him look terrible, just like we do with the top class talent we sign

@@darwinlitaf7544 we won’t get anywhere by keeping a manager that is tactically inferior to the other elite managers. Giving him another season isn’t going to change that.
You can’t compare it with Arteta and klopp becahse they started with far worse squads and by this point in their tenure they had a clear tactical set up and just needed better players to go to the next level. That’s not the case with ten Hag.
2 years is more than enough time to have a coherent tactical set up and style of play

The amount of people in this comment section who apparently live under rocks and think EtH hasn't earned his inevitable sacking is ludicrous. Sure it's funny but at the same time disappointing that so many ppl are that blind.
Even if EtH was performing well (which he irrefutably isn't), he'd still be on his way out because new regimes more often than not like to appoint their own manager to build their eras.

Look at Arteta’s stats against City in his early years and you’ll see that there isn’t much of a difference with Arsenal then and Utd now. Perhaps recruitment has been that bad that the profile of current players are simply prohibiting a certain style of play? Look at our injuries and name me a ‘big’ team that relies on a forward line that young, averaging 21 years with Garnacho & Hojlund. It’s the same observation of many out here who criticise Onana when we allow our goal to be peppered with such a high number of shots. The problem is too many believe what they read and watch, content which actually is being monetised at the expense of Utd’s bad form. How can that be objective ?? PSR is an issue, time to improve recruitment instead of paying of ETH!!

TEN HAG IS NOT ARTETA. stop saying “we’ll Arteta did this” it has no comparison to ten Hag. Arteta is a far better tactical coach than ten Hag.
We have conceded the 4th most shots in the league and have a GD around 0 in March.
