I’m not sure why but CZcams hasn’t been feeding me your videos, except last year’s stuff. So I went to find you & yep, y’all are still operating! Us too, albeit with changes. Got a competitor around the corner just crushing us this Fall. We have been barely going compared to last year. Got a load of Fir/Larch coming Monday & trying to get visibility again with a commercial lot along Hwy 93. Again. Meanwhile, we got into a rental (actually a 1895 Victorian home on a 2 acre farm) in the Spring… so HomeAgain Firewood has a home again. Now for that lot so we can really roll! Someday we (our families) outa get together & log some wood! Cheers & I’ll try to say hi 👋 more often!
Hey man, I love the channel and your videos! I live over in Yakima and am just getting into wood cutting, we have a small farm with a woodstove in the shop and a fireplace in the house. Thanks for all the information, I plan on studying what you do so we can get some of our own wood next year!
Alive off grid what a life no hustle and bustle, doing what we do. I cut firewood everyday you cut hemlock Pine , I cut oak, Hickory and black walnut. Good seeing ya'll again, God bless ,
Kelsie, I can tell from the sound that you axe splitting is coming along very well. It’s just got the “sound” to it that’s letting me come up with that assertion. 👍 The young one is fighting their pants trying to stay up. That’s what a belt OR suspenders are for. Try one and MANY of those problems go away. David, I really hope that the 390 problems are nothing major and the fix is easy AND inexpensive. BTW, it’s good to see you guys as always!
Thank you my friend and yes I remember being a little guy I was deadly on limbs with a hatchet haha I would limb all the logs while my dad went behind and started bucking blocks! Good memories for sure I hope our children remember these times and keep the knowledge we provide them
Always good to see you guys doing what it takes to keep healthy, and warm for this winter, I know you guys are there for yourself not for CZcams good stuff cuz!
Love seeing you guys work together. Getting it done in a hurry. Would love to see some tips on identifying different trees here in our area. I've got fir and ponderosa figured out but not tamarack and other pines.
Ive went to the darkside and bought a couple auto tune saws from Tony and as much as i knocked them i have to say i was very wrong and love them! .e and my buddy went way uo in elevation and they tuned right in and my Jonsered 625 was giving me hell trying to tune it and gave up and we ran my 2 auto tuned saws! Get back home and 625 has no issues! Good work as always from your family! Have a good one and be safe!
Yeah I’ve heard good and honestly can’t really speak on them because the one I used was a demo saw from Tony and the person before me put bad fuel in all his personal saws so Tony was thinking that’s what was wrong with the one he let me try
@@mountainlifewithdavidkelsie I love all my saws that I have to manually have to adjust but couldn't be happier with my auto tune saws. My buddies 046 wouldn't tune that day also very well. We were way up in elevation but the auto tune pulled through easily!!
Love your videos, you are a top notch family man, dad, and are doing the right things in the right way! You get into the most dandy firewood I have seen in years. I don’t see that stuff down here in Oregon. They have pretty much boogered up the timber industry around here. 29:48
Where do you harvest the wood from? Private land or public forest? I am trying to do small-scale harvesting, mostly as a hobby and for personal use during winter. I am in Missouri and every forest, park, or public land I check says it's forbidden to cut down or relocate/move/haul away both live and dead trees.

Great seeing the family working together. That 390 sounds lean to me. Sipping some air somewhere.

Love the cutting. Video of you burning woods inside the house? Thanks
Man I really enjoy your channel. When I was younger we had to go out with my dad and bring in load after load winter and summer.

Nice job, looks like you are getting quite a bit of firewood
That scenario is how I justify my chainsaw addiction.
Great video, what sort of wood is it. My family and I cut a large load today. Gday from Australia

Hate it when the equipment don't show up for the job.
Kid, try "the swing". Meaning, use the axe with a swing.
