      I agree. Put all the white people in their own homeland and let them live like they made the blacks live. Give them their own homeland and don't let them out. So what if they're still successful, just as long as they don't live near the superior blacks.

      The "change" is demolishing the country. Socialism (ie state owned banks, mines, 'free education' ) isn't a healthy option as the country is incredibly poor. Free education is a fantasy. This man is like a 2 year old Tolkien - writes nothing but fiction.

Therefore, as much as I don't agree with everything the EFF represent but their presence shall make my party work harder, productive and produce measurable result.

    The problem with the EFF is they stand for black power, black heroes, black empowerment etc. We should have a leader of equality. We should have South African power, South African hereos, South African empowerment etc. Yes, the majority of the country is black but the needs of the majority should never outweigh the needs of the minority and visa versa

    • @freeversewagamontsho4178
      @freeversewagamontsho4178 Před 10 lety +9

      That is not a problem at all...it is a natural state of transition...after years of oppression we do need black empowerment. You would not understand that because you never had to cut your childs hair because the school though it was unkempt(meaning not straight enough). You never worry when you buy a bandage plaster that it might no match your skin colour. You never worry that you might not find books for your children that also tells their narratives. You never worry that your son might be stopped by a neighbourhood watch guns ready to fire just because he is black...Equality can never happen unless we are all equal which we can clearly see by wealth distribution we are not there yet...we are the most unequal country in the whole wide world...equality starts when my mother does not have to leave us in the house at 4 in the morning just to go to some white ladies house to feed and bathe white ladies children while we sit at home hungry and dirty. That is where equality starts...

    • @BlackEducationRadio
      @BlackEducationRadio Před 10 lety +4

      "Yes, the majority of the country is black but the needs of the majority should never outweigh the needs of the minority." Wow really?
      If I travel to Mars tomorrow then it would make sense to empower the Green people, and not bend them to my will, that is unless I was trying to run apartheid. Majority rules. If the majority of the country is African then it would make sense that the Africans should be empowered by their own land and culture.

    • @caseymilledge1559
      @caseymilledge1559 Před 10 lety +2

      As i have already stated - equality means that we should have an equally elected president - who stands for equal rights and equal responsibilties. Sure black people were wronged in the past - but that is clearly all over now - do you think it is equality to have one paticular type of people in a higher place of power than another? Do you think it is equality to turn apartheid around on the white people to make it fair? I think not - and if you believe that then you are just as bad as the apartheid government. Also was i born during apartheid? Was i the one that personally put it in place? No i was not - so why must it affect me? That is why i stand for equality and democracy to make sure that NOBODY is put into a disadvantaged state. I understand Affrimitive Action and that we have laws that make sure black people get jobs but we must all be looked after. Forget creed, race and heritage. We are all South Africans. We're all equal.

      @freeversewagamontsho4178 Před 10 lety +3

      Casey Milledge Oh my gosh Casey...I really did not want to answer you...is it real all over now?????? Over for who??? Just like the many white people in our country your privilege blinds you to the many harsh realities many black people still face today because of apartheid. You think just putting a black face in parliament undoes years of damage. I understand Casey...it is fear that makes you want to justify situations. You are afraid of having your privilege taken from you but that is not an excuse. The truth is when apartheid ended it did not systematically end the same day. A process like that (zimbabwe) would traumatise and not heal. That does not mean we have to ignore the effects and not rectify them. When apartheid ended I was about 7 years old...Do you know what that means to my family????????????? It means I was the first member of my family to get a proper education and attend a University. Even when I did attend University because my mother was a domestic worker I had no money to finish my studies. That is a direct link to apartheid...something my dear Casey called generational privilege...A white kid who was born the same year as me had better opportunities and probably was bought a car on her first day of university. Whereas I when I get a job have on my shoulders the burden of providing for my family members who were denied a better education because of apartheid. That we see today...the way you use the word equality I am beginning to think we do not live in the same country (theoretically we do not because we grow up on different sides) because if you think that the people living in Khayelitsha chose to live there and are offered just as many opportunities as those in Cape Town then well you still have a lot to learn in terms of defining equality. Equality means being afforded the same opportunities but black people today are still not being offered the same opportunities. There is still no form of reliable transportation linking them to cities after apartheid threw them to the outskirts of civilisation. After the 1994 election my grandmother went to work for her white madam and that month received her R70 wages...Oppression does not end when you put black people in power it is a system and like any system it needs to be dismantled from the core...I am sorry it makes you uncomfortable...I would be uncomfortable too if I was white and guilty of enjoying privilege on the backs of the oppressed....

      Azrael6394 Exactly for years they behaved like the majority and mistreated the majority which are black people...today they want an all inclusive society...It is their greed that has led to black power...without apartheid there would be no need for 'black power' 'white power' because we black people are an inclusive society. We never once minded sharing the resources until we were exploited lol..

    For the first time the South African parliament sounds like a parliament of a people who fought and defeated apartheid with a specific mission to give effect to that victory instead of apologizing to our oppressors for having oppressed us. It is not us who are supposed to apologize. We did not oppress ourselves, we were oppressed and those who oppressed us owe us an apology not the other way round. Many of our martyrs who survived the war have since passed on without having received that apology instead insult to their injury, in the form of apologies to our oppressors, was the order of the day to date.

    • @LEBO1LEBOGANGSELEMEL
      @LEBO1LEBOGANGSELEMEL Před 10 lety +3

      How will an apology help South Africans move forward, speaking in economic terms? What form of appolgy is needed exactly? Do we need to take out guns and sjamboks and chase every white person out of South Africa to finally receive our apology? Do we need to drive away all forms of stability that this country relies upon for foreign investments and strong economic activity (Which by the way majority comes from "the white man's land")? Tell me isn't violence the primary form of oppression? Don't forget, but do forgive and just get on with life.. forgiving is not for the enemy and it is very empowering. That's how Mr Mandela and others like him won the support of the world.

      Yes, Obbey Mabena and the specific reason is to kill all whites and steal their possessions. The problem with your view point is that two wrongs do not make a right. It's not OK for a black government to oppress white people if it's not OK for a white government to oppress black people. Unfortunately you are too racist to see it from the white perspective. Like julias, I am also telling it like it is.

      What bedevils progress in the normalization of the situation in our country is precisely the attitude that is exuded by these respondents to my post. They refuse to acknowledge that an end to apartheid cannot come about in an order of business as usual. There is a need for fundamental change and in the satisfaction of that need their role is critical. But their attitude is that as superior beings they do the crime and we do the time.

Apartheid is being kept alive by those who blame it for their inability to move progressively forward. Apartheid is being kept alive by racism in legislation, i.e. BEE. As long as you keep blaming apartheid for your current situation, it is alive. What fundametal change are you talking about? What need has to be fulfilled? Be a man, shown us your racism openly.

Why are you not an inclusive people. We Africans are by nature an inclusive civilisation. We welcomed you when you came over the seas and landed on our shores...you bit us. Even after you bit us we forgave you but you keep biting us. It is the greed of the West that has turned Africa into what you now call anarchy and chaos. Even after your fore fathers had plundered and taken everything they still want more...We africans are not land grabbers we lived on the land with the land. The problem with Malema is that he thinks Blacks are EQUAL to whites. And that they deserve the same treatment, social status and regard in society as whites! :)
    - People who have a problem with what Malema is saying, subconsciously think this way, believing that the poor state is black people in a black majority is ok, as it stems from black people's natural inferiority!
    - if you think this way then what Malema says wont make sense to you and it will sound like arrogant hatred.

If the DA had won the election and not lived up to their promises i would like to see him do the same. Having said all of that... Julius is 33 years old... so he would have been 13 when apartheid ( the dumbest thing ever ) was abolished. He has lived more of his life in a non-apartheid South-Africa than what he did in it. The last Elections was the first time people who where born after the abolishment of Apartheid would be allowed to vote. A whole new generation who (if BEE had worked) should be on equal terms. His family situation was most likely dire as a result of apartheid and that's something one lives with every single day even post-apartheid. These are the consequences of a terrible regime. Anyway, I think the conversation needs to be more about rich and poor than black and white, as there are both filthy rich blacks and poor/downtrodden whites as well. The colour labeling just fuels racism. It doesn't help the situation at all.

    Seriously though, the orders were eating on his time. President spoke for hours and people were sleeping. Yes diplomacy with Malema is an issue but the Guy has got you thinking. His statistics are straight from StatsSA. Something to ponder, If the same rate and effort which was placed in building the world cup stadiums and infrastructure improvements was to be applied to Building schools, hospitals and other socio-economic fundamentals, where will RSA be in 5 years?
    Learn some diplomacy Mr Malema but thanks to the radical approach, you stir up action. EFF for the Future

    Peoples opinions should be respected at all times, Yes Julius may have spoken ill previously, but the content of his address is spot on. we need his caliber. For instance, more and more people including most of you that have commented here are curious to know what is going to happen in parliament next,
    I still maintain that the people that have brought the parliament in to disrepute in the past week is Ma'Lindiwe Sisulu. Julius Malema, Mosi Maimane and General Holomisa spoke sense and one of the my worries amongst many things is the inability of the Chair person of NCOP to be neutral. she is Biased and will cause chaos.

    Hi there, I am a 20 year old white South African. I have lived in this country all my life and I have friends who are of all different races.
    I wasn't born into apartheid but I can see the after affects of it still today. I am only a single person in this country and by myself I cant change what has happened to SA.
    I am not a racist but I would like to ask a few questions:
    To the black readers of this post - Some of you say that you want us whites to leave South Africa, you want to kick us out, you want to label ALL of us as criminals
    - what of those who weren't part of apartheid, the whites who were born from 1994 on-wards? Do you think we deserve the same treatment that you received before 1994? Even after Mandela said that as a nation we must forgive and move forward as one mind... Will you receive satisfaction out of watching us whites, die (as some radicals want us dead), leave South Africa and with that taking our skill sets with us that could have improved South Africa so much more?
    I do admit that my people have made a fuck ton of mistakes in the past and we still make a lot today but, how is that blacks are still more concerned with our mistakes when the most obvious problem with South Africa is her corrupt government which's majority is mainly made of blacks?
    I give praise to Julius Malema for what he is doing, he is giving the ANC more of a fight than the DA is but what I don't understand is why he labels all of us (whites) as a problem and he may not have said it in this video but he has in the past. I do not think he is a stupid man, I think he is well educated and has balls of steel to say the things he says.
    If I have offended any body in this post I am truly sorry, I am just here to seek some answers.

      This is not anymore of the black to black or white to white issues. Julius Malema is the perfect change and push factor for the parliamental candidates to step up their game. His kind of leadership however,according to me is not acceptable at all. The very same treatement of Apartheid that was enforced on black communities back in the years is the one that he is enforcing on white communities. If that, according to you Ratanang Mokoena is the kind of leadership you prefer, then maybe God chose a bad era for you to be born in.

    Pple I believe Julius is a good man, in fact I believe despite all that the media has hunted and captured of him, he just stands firm, all Julius is doing is to tell the truth and be against what everybody turns a blind eye on, for example every body know the faults of the ANC and never faces it, every body wants to say something about the distribution of land but they don't, so he faces all those things, I like it when he says he was part of the ANC and up until their differences they haven't mentioned how corrupt he is but now they know, which just points a straight finger to the ANC leaders on to how corrupt they are. In fact I am a member of ANC moreover I am a White Afrikaans from Pretoria but I still belive Malema is right.
