Just keeping track of all those bolts is worth the price of admission. Outstanding.

Is that the new rad support that is to help with flexing? Looks like they took into account the new CAC pipe and designed their new support so it work not have to be cut. Any change in EGTS with the new inter cooler and pipe ?

Very informative video but I wouldn't be super pumped about someone cranking bolt into my brand new aluminum radiator with a impact.

Hey bill. I'm from the great white North (Coast of Labrador) and I am starting a towing/transport company based on F series trucks. Should I stay away from 2011-2012? and should I get 450's or 350's? Thanks!

I would think that part is magnesium due to the rust belt trucks. I could possibly see it as a preventative measure to the hood latch rusting off, allowing the hood to fly open, obstructing driver vision, killing a busload of nuns holding kittens, and ford being sued as a result.
So I suppose it would be a question of why magnesium and not aluminum?

But that magnesium upper radiator support is bolted to a steel subframe member of the nose(separated by aluminum spacers). But none the less the locations its bolted to are just as susceptible to rust out and then your hood latch theory would be void.

Do you have to replace that upper support or can you use the factory one??

I have a question sir about a 6.0. I'm looking to buy. it's a 04 f250 king ranch with 234k miles. should I be worried about anything. I would think someone has already done something to it. it's a Texas truck if that means anything
