This is one of the most interesting, craziest and creative music duo ever to be heard. Some songs are just off the charts nuts and unconventional and some are just spectacular works of art. I am a fan now of XIU XIU. I had to research into them further as I like the collaboration with HEALTH on "Delicious Apes" track. Unlike a lot of bands and that is sometimes a good thing to find something special in the possibilities of music, art and life.
That shriek of "dreeeeeeaammm" on I Luv Abortion gave me goosebumps and raised every hair on my body. Damn, that was awesome.

Wow, thanks for uploading this, what a treasure. (Also, thanks to whoever made it, really stellar quality.) At least 3 of the top 5 concerts I've been to have been by Xiu Xiu (back in the Caralee era, with various configurations), so it's a delight to see a live video that does them justice.

It's like the gothicism of The Cure, dark electronica, discotheque, new wave, theatrical, operatic, rock, punk, shoegaze melancholia, grindhouse inanities--and overall weird and somewhat a music fit for the mentally insane, but it's addictive! And the riffs and grove are so fn damn cool! Shit, getting mixed feelings about this band/act.
