- holy moly. Extreme Behemoth, Arch Tempered Nergigante, Arch Tempered Lunastra, and Ancient Leshen were the hardest challenges of MHW Base game. Now let's see how tough this Extremoth is when we two Long Sword speedrunners use maxed out Safi'Jiiva endgame equipment.

Well it is a monster from FF, and their whole buisness is about craming a story of androgynous teenagers fighting against a god with the power of friendship, so it makes sense in a way.

How do you survive the final fight on the moon in FFIV against zeromus? If I remember correctly all your friends are lending their power to defeat the final foe. And don't get me wrong, I have nothing against this kind of plot twist I did every FF exept the 15 weirdly enought cause I saw some lets play and I don't really wanted to spent that much time drive in car around on a lane.
@@sludgewave4786 you missed nothing 15 was forgettable and a waste of time, but the power of friendship is still used less in ff than kh. I never finished ff4 maybe I will soon, but that was the one with kain and cecil right? Not surprised it came down to friendship in that one. The one's I've finished or seen the ending of don't come down to bs friendship boosts much. Not saying they don't happen, I just think kh is a better comparison
@@grantgarbour Oh yeah Kingdom heart is heavily relying on friendship to solve all of its problems and it's not afraid to say it out loud...I find kingdom heart plot utterly ridiculous and yet I keep coming back to it...Especially "birth by sleep" and KH2.
For FF4 yes it's the one with Kain and cecil in it. FFX is using that friendship aspect too, At a point I was more into knowing how the relationship of my character was evolving than the actual plot. Plot that is all over the place as usual in a FF. Your Father Sin actually die and reincarnate as a Giant space whale that is a threat to humanity? And you are a ghost Footballer from the future? Not gonna lie tho I love FFX

When TDS slays Extreme Behemoth faster than you can slay a regular monster
Extremouth solo is a sub 10 min fight in MR, in full fatalis gear and with fatalis raw weapons probably sub 8 mins, makes sense double the players half the time
That's why I am here watching how to get better.

I completed during the festival.I can assure you 9/10 time half of your team have no idea what to do when the meteor drops.
Even My only successful attempt is having a single guy 3 carting by meteor(glad we have insurance)
I got a guy who played Dual Blades tanking the behemoth like he was inspired by you or one of you in secret. Carried the battle while I wailed on the Behemoth from behind with LS and another with a Bow. Seeing you two run it so smoothly by yourselves is so amazing though, I mean for our run it cast Charybdis twice but that was with our Dual Blades user actually getting enmity and establishing it quickly... You two just stomped this thing without playing by the rules the devs made for the monster, unmatched.

How to convert the video format into pain
Extreme Behemoth was the demo for Iceborne MR elder Dragons and we had HR gear back then. The fact he became easier as we fought him back then is a testament to the design of monster. YOU improve not just your gear YOU become powerful. We sport Drachen Layered as a middle finger to him and a thanks.

MHW is still attracting so many new players and returning players from Rise...Also you gave literally no context so if you mean the layered armor is trash - yeah, in iceborne it becomes obselite. That's what happens when you powerscale the game higher.. better gear is introduced. Also, if you mean specifically layered drachen armor, it's purely cosmetic. In the FF universe the PC needs help from a demigod to slay foes like this.
Meanwhile, in the MH universe hunters are slaying demigods like its a normal Saturday morning thing.
Actually, this behemoth fight is based off a raid mid-boss... No demigods required. And FF14's reached a point where this fight is totally trivialized in 99% of all runs of said raid.

The only Behemoth I'm familiar with is the FFXIV behemoth, and even though now it's trivialized it was a challenge back in the day, and your PC has always had a demigod at their back.

This collab is partly what got me to try FF14. Gotta say, this hunt was way more harsh than any extreme trial I've done in FF14. But it was about equal in terms of random players dying to simple mechanics.
And ironically the Extreme Rathalos in FF14 is a lot easier if you play it like a Monster Hunter fight. But his flying claw swipe has a hitbox that would make Plesioth blush.
In shadowbringer certain extreme instances will shit on people lol. Especially if you don't know what your doing. But most of its common sense don't stand in aoes. Avoid cleaves lol easy

Video Length: a little over 6 mins
Me: Oh yeah, its all coming together
Strong enough that even I was finally able to solo it and get my sweet Drachen layered armor
At first I felt guilty because I had the idea that I "cheesed it" but then I remembered that he is tempered, so running him with MR gear is relatively similar to if I were to run regular him with HR gear.
As to say that it's by no means a cakewalk and I would hardly call it "cheese". Made it easier and more manageable, absolutely.

I actually want to try this the next time its available. I was able to solo regular Behemoth in base World since I had no online at the time and that felt like an eternity ago. But I'm guessing its "easier" with MR armor. Congrats to all who were finally able to solo this monster!
This was so epic to watch I was out of my seat.
Watching this gives me hope of finally getting that layered armor set.
Even with master rank gear and nearly all the much needed decorations I was missing before, I still can't even clear normal behemoth alone... Those ecliptic meteors are evil.

It's nice seeing a coordinated yet unplanned, pure skill and build intuition fight for once. As someone who beat Extremoth in HR, seeing the same kind of mostly unplanned yet careful fighting style on him is a real joy for me.
_(Charbydis still takes him down from S-tier for me, but seeing him still have some level of difficulty for MR makes me happy)_

When you think you’re half decent at the game and then see such a flawless video like this and realize that you’re not even close to that level of gameplay... FeelsBadMan
To be fair, although this level of play looks cool, to reach it requires letting go of theme and submersion, and leaning heavily on meta data and the fact that it isn't real for frame data, patterns, min maxing, and so forth.
For some like myself, I appreciate this, but I'm happy to be a veteran hunter exploring the wilderness of this wild world. FeelsGoodMan.

Its just LS Speedrunners. Nothing can really harm you if your good with the LS Invincibility frames timing and spam.
These guys fail like a hundred times before they can do it right (and I bet anything they would fail the next ones a bunch before doing right again if they tried again), so it's a bit of a stretch to think anyone would do like this when they aren't training patterns the entire day straight.

I tried this the other day with a friend using different hbgs. We weren't speedrunners but it worked out pretty well.
Running double lvl 5 sharpness km the Safi ls is something that never crossed my mind. 🤔
I tried this when i had maxed out endgame iceborne gear and it was so easy i even had randoms helping sadly wasnt able to beat extreme behemoth in base world he was the only monster i never beat the difficulty gap between him and AT nergigante is ridiculous huge imo

@@everlastiny Yeah I tried with very good MR gear, and with some dedication and some tries its definitely possible. But theres a reason this thing was made for 4 players, and that doesnt really change even with higher damage and defense. Ecliptic still oneshots 🤷
I tried that a few times but at some stage he will just do his meteor over and over again until he gets you, no idea how to get through that stage
@@PredatorGodPaya that's the 3rd stage of the fight, it's got a built in damage check. If you do enough damage he moves to the final stage, if not he casts ecliptic over and over without dropping comets 1st.

@Team Darkside I have a challenge for you. Do a Spirit Helm Breaker Combo on a Monsters Tail (preferebly Jho, Radobaan, Uragaan) that cuts the monsters tail exactly at the position where it`s supposed to be, to make it look like a clean cut. That should take you a while. Besides that, nice work :D

Arch tempereds aren't that much of a big challenge as extremoth when using MR gear, actually in my experience the arch tempered aren't even strong as master rank elders, but who knows may be TDS will show how they will massacre them all.

@@senix6852 AL might still be difficult as is Extremoth, i couldn't say so my self because i didn't fight him in master rank, i did need few AT tickets to craft layered armours, but gonna try tonight to see how it goes, if AL event is on.

I'm not to surprised, me and a buddy did regular behemoth in under 20 minutes with rarity 2 hammers. So the fact TDS did it in 6 minutes with perfect gear doesn't surprise me. Now if a video of there's was over 15 minutes and wasn't a information video then I'd be surprised, cause they are literal gods of speedruns to me and my friend
This makes me so jealous Cuse I wanna be able to use the long sword like this but I can’t get the timing down
Practice, these guys have thousands of hours under their belts fighting monsters hundreds of times to learn their moves then doing hundreds of runs to get the perfect AI, perfect positioning etc, it’s just takes time and dedication
