I can admit I was a hater for so long, but the guy has won me over. He has remained his uniquely weird self throughout and has always been open with the media and accessible through his CZcams content. I can’t believe I root for him now but I do.

I'll be rooting for Bryson this weekend. I used to not think that highly of Bryson, I guess i fell victim to the false media portrayal of him 4-5 years ago, but I've been watching his CZcams content for the past year and he's really a delightful guy. I'm curious if anyone else has changed their perception of him recently?

I used to despise the guy, my brother loved him.
Over the last few years watching his CZcams and his media coverage shift from making fun of him to him being praised by the fans and by the tour. I’ve definitely had my perspective change.

No, he was never disrespectful to anybody and has always been a class act. So what he uses a different way of thinking to play the game, never bothered me at all. His long drives and power game was always exciting too me

Our practice range has a simulated green with a pole at 309 yards. It is way out there and I have measured it with my Bushnell. Many guys hit balls that run up on the green or get near it. But Bryson would air mail the whole green and pole significantly. It is amazing to imagine it. The balls would never be retrieved. They would be in the scrub desert with cactus and mesquite trees. Gone. It would be so much fun to play golf like that.

I will say what they have been showing has been pretty good. Not too much down time and stuff. Appreciate the effort there but it feels a lot of it is getting wasted force feeding peacock.
I like that you had a choice of which group to watch, or have 3-4 groups showing concurrently on the screen at the same time (at least on CZcams TV). I had Bryson and Max on with no commercials the entire morning. Didn't have to switch to Peacock. Was it not the same broadcast for everyone?

Sports is entertainment, plain and simple. That’s the element that brings in sponsors, fans, eyeballs, partnerships etc. Scottie is arguably bad for the sport.

Bryson lost my respect. I still cant wrap my head around their comments that they want to expose golf to more people. They take millions and millions from LIV to do that. So I ask what was wrong playing all over the world on the DP tour, Asain tour, etc. To me it's all lies. It was the money.
