Thank you very much for creating and sharing it. @16:33 When placing Leopolds token on the objective card, it should be placed on the roman numerals, not the bottom part victory points, because Leopold does not have those points yet. He needs to "complete" the objective before he is granted those points and if you place the token on the lower, VP section, it looks like he has finished that one. The rules state that you put the token on the roman numerals until he either can't go higher, then anils the points or you block the higher position and he got to "accept" the lower points... If you put the token immediatly on the points, he will never "fail" an objective... (I ramble when trying to explain, but the rules are clear. p. 5-6 Dinner for one rulebook) I really like your voice in those playthroughs. Soothing and calm. A real pleasure to watch and listen 😀👍

Thanks Cyrille. The solo rules and cards are in the Let's Waltz expansion. I'm not sure if you can get them outside of the expansion unfortunately. I think it is a better 2 player game than solo honestly, but both are good. Did you enjoy Obsession? Thanks again!

I did not realize that when I made the video. In fact, I still have trouble believing it is true. I have also heard they are potentially going to make it available again but I don't think that has happened yet. Maybe someone in the comments or someone on BGG is more knowledgeable about the situation. Unfortunately, it seems like the solo mode is tough to get at the moment. I really enjoyed this playthrough. This game really appeals to me, although seems to be totally impossible to find here in the UK at the moment (perhaps, that's a blessing in disguise for my bank account!). Does the Leopold solo mode come with the base game, or do you need the expansion for that?
Thanks Jay! I believe the solo mode was a KS exclusive with the expansion. I could be wrong about that, but I believe it is difficult to get. I didn't realize that when I made the video. I hope they widely release the solo mode in some fashion, because it is simply a deck of cards. Could even be a simple app. The base game is great at 2 players, though.

At least here in the UK, the Let’s Waltz expansion includes the solo mode (although unhelpfully a lot of the product descriptions on retail sites don’t say that). It has been a bit of a wait for me to get the game since your playthrough here tempted me in, but I finally have it and it will be hitting my table later today!

Yes, the solo mode was (little did I know at the time) a KS exclusive for the expansion. I believe it is a part of the latest printing of the expansion, but I could be wrong. Definitely check before getting it. The whole thing is sort of a mess. Thanks for watching.

@@TotallyTabled played tonight on my channel with the AI bot from BBG which I think is very similar to the AI that was released... I think it was made by the same people... anyways, I didn't have fun with it at all.. they should just call the AI bot "Give it All" because it was getting the highest scoring person and putting them into hotel for free each turn plus Emperor advancement for free, plus gaining end of game scoring cards... it was 56 to 24 at the end of turn 7 and the AI had 2 end of game scoring cards and I had none.. so it basically killed me on easy mode with the "give" the AI everything... I didn't have any fun at all... not one bit... the ability for the AI to get everything for free and not struggle is very frustrating.. and took all of the fun out of the game for me...
Ah, yeah, unfortunately those were exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign for the expansion. That was a sad fact I learned after making the video. I heard they might release it as a promo but I'm not sure that ever happened. I would check on Boardgamegeek. Some one might have found a way to proxy the cards. I wish they were in an app or something, that would be perfect. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
