    Good job . FYI , Never add brake fluid . The purpose of the reservoir is to indicate new and use brake pads . Fluid at the MAX line , pads are new . Fluid at the minimum line , pads are wore out . At least in theory . But the lines are wear indicators . Below minimum, damaged parts/leaks. Brake fluild is hydrophobic, absorbs water. Mostly through condensation. Fluid turns brown due to rust and or burnt. Should be replaced every 2-4 years or so. Then again we should all eat right too, lol. Even though that's what the book says I usually do it in the 5-10 year range. I usually don't listen to myself 😂😂😂😂

    Thanks for the review. Please tell me the size of the end head for removing the nut on the wheel hub. If it is possible to drop the link where you bought it or its characteristics. Thanks!

    Why I feel like he scratched the hell out of that rear rim trying to get that rear caliper out

  • @screeminlabmonki
    @screeminlabmonki Před rokem +1

    Removing the 2 rear fender bolts, then dropping the rear fender away makes it way easier to get the caliper. Dont have to mess with rear tire bolt.

    Can't you also in theory take the caliper off of the front without taking the wheel off? Maybe by loosening the bolts for the fender if needed? I got a 22' 600 and been needing to replace the brake pads, was waiting till i got the socket so I could take the back off cause I thought with the back you needed to but there actually does seem to be enough of a gap with the 600 to pull out the caliper without taking the wheel off

      definitely need to take of front tire! .... you can get the caliper off but its a bitch to get it back on. and remember, the pads are going to be thicker goin back on.

      Maybe you need a new caliber.. try taking the brake pads off and with the caliper off press the brakes and see if the Piston comes out

    I think you could have did a better job of describing what you were doing meaning you never told anyone what size socket you needed to take off the wheel to start and also what sizes allen keys you were using for the back brake caliper besides that it was good video
