  • It's time to start building some downhill trails at @bkxc and @mtbingadventures1551 property Everstoke! So far we've cut in some campgrounds and carved a climbing trail into the mountain. Now we're beginning the first of many downhill trails that will exist on the property. It's going to take a LOT of time to truly build out the full 91 acres but these first few trails will serve as a fantastic learning opportunity and a chance for us to sharpen our skills at building in this terrain.
    So sit back and watch us work the McLeod's better an ANY Highlander ever could. Oh. And thanks to Kyle for some excellent camera work on this one. He really captured my good side. 😂

      Thanks Tim! If it's anything BCPov has taught me it's that trail build videos can be wildly entertaining. I'm still working up to that level though. 😂

    Man I massively appreciate your production values! The shots, the editing, the vlogging, the music (which I know can be super time consuming), all very engaging. LOVE the channel! 👍🏻

      Thanks Chris! Yea one of the things I've been spending extra time on lately is syncing the music with the shots. It adds some extra editing time but I really like the end result. Always trying to learn something new with each vid. Glad you're diggin' it!

    mister, i'm onto you. no sane human being wakes up with that kinda energy. seriously though (yeah right), the dusty imagery is pretty dope brother. but, new rule: a log must turn into a log jump. just sayin'. but again in all seriousness, this is such a true depiction of just how much of a chore it is to build a trail. fun, sure, but also tedious, back breaking work. thanks for digging (and sharing)!

    • @CaliradoKid
      @CaliradoKid  Před 2 lety +2

      Haha! You're totally right. I got coffee THEN I was like.."let's film the intro!" I think you nailed it. Trailwork is a LOT of work. I really do enjoy it but I'm glad I could show off a little bit of what it's like. Hopefully people don't just leave the vid immediately when they find out there won't be any riding involved. I tried to make it fun! 😂

      This is out at Everstoke. It's near Greagle CA. It's part of the 91 acres of land BKXC and Aaron bought. Just imagine how much time and effort it's going to take to build out the whole 91 acres! We have a lot of work ahead of us. 😂
