    DESPITE living with a severe form of psoriasis, a determined mother has finally gained the courage to speak out and raise more awareness of the “crippling autoimmune condition.” Sabrina was diagnosed when she was just 12-years-old and suffered major confidence issues in her teenage years - constantly trying to hide the scaly plaques on her skin. Due to the sometimes unbearable pain, the 23-year-old is unable to work and has to take great care when she wants to play with her children. Residing in North Carolina with her husband, Daniel, and her two daughters, Sabrina admits that her family and motherhood has saved her from complete depression. And thankfully, Sabrina has found more confidence in her own skin over the last few months and now hopes to educate people on something that is much more than “just a skin condition”.

    Psoriasis is not contagious, so if your friend or family member have it, dont afraid to hug them, hold them close. My little sister also have psoriasis, she have to consume medicine, use ointment, and every morning at least at 9 am she must sunbathing for 10 minute.
    Oh and also those who suffer psoriasis are told if they can to not feeling stress, stress can cause the skin regrow faster.

Now don’t think I m trying to scam you for money. U can check for urself. But don’t go for allopathic medicines where steroids and other medicines will damage ur body more than u can imagine. Select ur own Ayurvedic hospital which is well established in Kerala. It would cost u around 1500 dollars for a month. This would include ur food, stay and medicine until the treatment period. • @ibi1453
      @ibi1453 Před 4 lety +4

      @@taoist32 the strategy is simple, if you really want to cure psoriasis then do this:
      1. Don't eat processed foods, like cake, candy,chocolate, pasta and bread
      2. Don't eat gluten, I already said it but I just want to be clear for you because I really want you to be better because I had it too
      3. Don't eat eggs and dairy, you can slowly incorporating the eggs after you healed your psoriasis, but make sure that the chicken has a natural diet and is outside (chickens naturally eat little insects, they don't eat wheat). The same is for dairy, the cow(goats are best but cow is ok) needs to be grass fed and the dairy has to be raw
      4. SUGAR, almost forgot it, this is the worst with the processed food, sugar is highly inflammatory and you will see this on your skin
      5. Eat grass fed beef(no pork bc it's toxic), the best thing to do is go to a local farmer who sells grass-fed meat, such as lamb and beef.
      6. Don't eat too much fruit, almost all the fruit is gmo, the fruit from today is not the same as our ancestors ate, sure it has vitamins and minerals and it's good to eat them but it should me like a snack. just eat them when you're hungry but do not want to cook something
      7. Eat veggies, however also almost all the veggies are gmo, the do not have a lot of sugar like fruit.
      8. Go to the doc and ask for the best vitamine d and zinc, I do not know where you live and how much it costs for you, but I was fortunate enough that I live in the Netherlands and it was free for me, but it's not really really necessary, it just speeds up the healing
      9. Food combining: My psoriasis didn't heal because of this in the beginning. I just ate whenever I wanted, but this is very important. When you wake up, wait 2 hours before you consume anything ( you can drink water if you really need something). After the 2 hours eat some fruit/nuts/veggies (you can do them together if you want). Then wait 2 hours again before you consume anything. At dinner don't combine meat/fish with fruit, you can do some veggies with it if you want. After dinner again wait 2 hours till you consume anything again. Search on the internet on foodcombining and it will be clearer for you
      10. Don't consume cafeine, you can drink tea with herbs in it, but look good because in almost all the tea there is sugar.
      11. Fatty fish is very good against psoriasis, but it's only good if you eat wild caught. Wild caught salmon is very good, also sardines are good. But almost all the big fishes like tuna and swordfish are very bad for psoriasis, because of the high mercury in it. On the internet you can find a lot of fish with low mercury

    I'm so sorry for your condition. I understand your pain. I have suffered with Psorasis now for over 20 years. None of the prescribed medications or biologics/injections have ever helped me. They have just caused me more health issues. I have learned in the past 3 to 4 years that Psorasis is an auto immune disorder and mal-absorbtion of your gut/colon area. I saw a GastroEnterologist in the last 2 years. He stated to me that I might have a gluten allergy that is affecting your skin. After that I changed my diet eating less food in general, eating no bread/ no carbs, and increase my vegetable intake. In the past year I have cleared my skin. It's not a 100% but in the last 3 months I have changed my external as well as the internal products on my skin. Because what you do on the inside you have to do on the outside, to see the effects.
    1- Do salt water baths daily, you can use Epsom salt, pink salt, coarse sea salt is best or mix them all. You can alternate with oatmeal baths, it is very soothing for the skin. 2- Eat clean, eat Oatmeal, eat healthy, eat low carbs, more meat, clean fats, organic if possible. Eat an alkaline diet. 3- I have started eating collegen peptides every day. This will help your joints. In addition to this, your body stops producing collagen at 25 years old. I take 1 scope in a drink at lunch, its flavor less. I use the Orgain brand but you can use any brand you like. I started drinking it because I lost weight and my skin was flabby, and it helped alot with that and also hair, skin and nails. I also have Osteoarthritis, which I hope it is helping with that as well. 4- I started drinking daily Chlorophyll. 2 tablespoons in water. I did this because I saw another CZcams video. The girl cleared her eczema in 3 weeks with Chlorophyll and the new cream by Neutrogena Hydro Boost. It has hyaluronic acid which is good for the skin. 5- On your skin itself, you have to use things that are clean, no additives or preservatives soaps and shampoos. You can try Coconut oil soap, Dr Bronners Pure Castle soap Baby version- use it all over your body, African Black Soap. It has Shea butter in it and it's very soothing to the skin. I use coal tar shampoo on my skin and scalp daily, to reduce scaly spots. 5- Please stop drinking any carbonated drinks or high fructose corn syrup. It bothers the skin, causing flare ups. Drink more water, coconut water and natural fruit juice you make at home. That you know what is in. What you are eating and drinking. 6- You have to keep your skin moisturized at all times. I use coconut oil or just plain Vaseline. Vaseline stays on longer.
    Those are my remedies that help externally, with dry patches. Also you have to change the internal factors too, so you can prevent the itchy sensation and the skin patches.
    I really hope this helps you. I'm not sure of the current state of your Condition now. This video came up on my feed today. I had to answer, I am a helper and I love to help people. If I can help anyone with my story, then I will. I hope and pray that you are cleared of this horrible disease. Because that's what it is. It takes your everything from you. I'm single and I have been single for a long time because of this. No one understands this, If they do not have it themselves. You are blessed to have a husband that is very supportive. Thank God for him.
    Now please understand, since it took you a while to get this condition. It will take some time to clear it. If you listen to what I told you here. You can heal yourself naturally with no medication. It is possible, I am proof of that. It's a work in progress. For me, I am allergic to many medications and my body rejects everything. So this was another reason why I had to find natural remedies to help me with this condition. Please understand that Psorasis/Eczema are allergy related too. When your body is allergic to something, it will come out on your skin.
    Here is another CZcamsr that has had Psorasis. He has been clear for 10 years and he helps others. His name is Rob Stuart. He is so good. He has alot of videos of what to eat and not eat for these skin conditions. They do work. I am currently doing them. What I listed above is what I do daily. You also have to keep moving .....exercise. Start off small......Walking first and continue on! If I could do it. I have had auto accidents, knee surgeries and permament nerve damage to my body. Then you can tooo. Remember....You can do anything you put your mind toooo.
    God bless you and all your family. Praying that you are completely healed of this disease. Prayers for health and wellness in you and all your family always in Jesus name Amen.
    Contact me back if you have any questions. I'm glad to help

      I looked into this because I have an autoimmune disorder too, it appears that we have overactive immune systems and probably are not any more compromised and potentially more so protected (generally, not speaking for any individuals here). People with compromised immune systems are for example people who undergoing chemotherapy.

    • @rumblefish9
      @rumblefish9 Před 3 lety +2

      @@cholulalv I don't think this is true and potentially dangerous for psoriasis sufferers to think this way because they might see themselves as having protection when there is no real basis for that. It's a theory that hasn't been studied formally or is there any anecdotal evidence.
      I had covid19 last July. I have moderate psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and not only did my psoriasis worsen after but it's made my PA much worst. It also didn't protect me from covid19. I and my mom suffered the worst in our family. It took me a month to get back some sense of smell and taste and even now they haven't fully returned. I still have neurological issues from covid19 months after I tested positive.
      I don't think us having an overactive immune system necessarily helps in this case. In fact, I think covid19 makes whatever immune issue you have much worst after. A friend of mine from our psor support group also tested positive and noticed her psor and PA worsened after getting covid19.
      I also have asthma and before covid19 my asthma attacks were few and far between. now, I feel like I'm having 1 or more attacks every month even with medication. I had a massive asthma attack 4 days into my sickness that took so long to get controlled.

      Lee C. My insurance denied it twice...I get mine thru this program cosentyx has where they supply it to the patient (me) completely free of charge. I don’t pay anything for mine. The program has been a lifesaver. I would not be able to get it if not for the program. They will supply it free for two years which is typically (not always...each person is different) how long the medication is taken in order to reach remission at which point you no longer need the medication unless you have a severe flare up. That’s why I love cosentyx. They are willing to help the ones who can’t get it, get it. At no cost to the patient 😊

    • @LSUtiger151
      @LSUtiger151 Před 4 lety +1

      Lee C. Yeah sure. So I did it all thru my dermatologist. There’s a form and you fill out part of it and your dermatologist fills out the other half (which was a lot of fun for us to figure out how to do bc I was on vacay in NYC when they decided to go this route and decided they couldn’t wait for me to get back from my trip. Lol) and then it’s sent to cosentyx with proof that insurance denied/you don’t have insurance/whatever your case may be and also they do pre-approval bloodwork (to make sure you don’t have TB and hepatitis and that all your blood counts are good) and those results are sent too and then after about a week or so cosentyx/your derm/both will call you to let you know if you are approved (honestly didn’t think I would be and I was so I don’t think they turn too many folks away) and then they call for each delivery. They send the med one dose at a time. So for me it’s one autoinjector pen at a time. It takes a couple weeks to get it all straightened out and all the “I”s dotted and “T”s crossed. They call before each delivery to make sure that you’ll be around on the day it’s delivered (bc it’s a refrigerated medication) and to work out a date that works best for you and is close to your next scheduled dose. They also send a sharps disposal container and once it’s full you send it back to them with the shipping label they sent with it and a travel kit incase you have to take it with you (you may think you don’t need the travel case bc they only send it one at a time-I didn’t-but I ended up using it when my nephew was born and had to go to my brothers. Lol) I don’t get charged a penny for any of it. The medication and shipping is all paid for by cosentyx. The program has been a lifesaver for me. I forget it’s exact name but you can find out all the info on the cosentyx website. The form is found by going thru the ‘I am a physician’ Portal if you wanna check it out.
