Light states are very mysterious.Looking though a screen at a world of light while feeling a powering loving embrace is such a phenominal experience its nearly impossible to put it into words. While at the same time Im aware that only a few short hours ago I was human. And I still identify myself as a human I think "Im andrew but yet im wearing a silver robe in a rainbow city." When that ego is brought in the feeling is overwealmingly amusing. Ego doesnt know what to do "im human? but this isnt humans whats happening. Then you watch and it surrenders to the light and stops caring about what it is. Just so you can turn in back on a moment later.

11:17 - Swami Kriyananda talks about the creation of the universe. and I agree with this. Let's pretend we're God for a second. We want to share. we went to love. we went to Experience unity with other beings - other mysteries - other beautiful beings. so we created it that way.

The immediate consequence of William's death was a war between his sons Robert and William over control of England and Normandy.[2]
Even after the younger William's death in 1100 and the succession of
his youngest brother Henry as king, Normandy and England remained
contested between the brothers until Robert's capture by Henry at the Battle of Tinchebray
in 1106. The difficulties over the succession led to a loss of
authority in Normandy, with the aristocracy regaining much of the power
they had lost to the elder William.
His sons also lost much of their
control over Maine, which revolted in 1089 and managed to remain mostly
    free of Norman influence thereafter.[140]

You can easily find The Sutras of Patanjali on many website. They were written maybe (no - one really knows) around 50-400AD. They are short verses of words designed to guide the aspiring yogi. There are 4 chapters. No need to look at them all.Find 5 sutras that you can relate to and explain how you could use them as a teaching platform.

When he talks about women taking more time to primp and look nice (being more attached to Maya) and men being more attached to sex I can't help but question this. I don't necessarily believe that females and males are innately the way he describes. Culture plays a large factor into how a particular gender "should be" and is apart of conditioning. I think women want sex just as much as men do but it is so tabooed in this culture and women are conditioned to be more supressed and submissive. Also you could argue that men care just as much about beautiful things and looking nice too , it just manifests differently because of what is culturally acceptable and expected. There's a big pressure on women to look a certain way in this culture which is why I think they are more concerned with "primping " as he calls it because they are expected to look pretty and are judged by their appearance a lot more so than men. However look at the huge culture of drag queens who are men who enjoy dressing up and putting makeup on. These qualities can be found in both genders and it's the culture that really shapes the prevalence of what characteristics are acceptable to express as your certain gender. I just wanted to comment on that. Great talk so far though really enjoying it.

When the witness-er of our reality isn't being witnessed by the witnessed , a complex and often misunderstood union is formed in the shape of thought. The seer takes on the role of the Will , which often leads to a sense of false identification. Only when we lower our defences and become vulnerable to our own judgements do we truly grow as an individual. Holding ourselves in manner of politeness to those of like nature and indifference to those unholy by accordance of positive outcome is the bricks that lay the path of enlightenment and restraint.

when mouna viradham( the process of practising silence) is suggested as a parigaram(revitalisation methodology) for vakku sani (a stage in 7.5 years of saturn as per vedic astrology)- in patanjali yoga sutras - vibuti padam sutram 4 - states that trayam ekatra samyamah - which also suggests silence to perceive knowledge. Then if this mouna viradham is leading to a state of samyama for 2.5 years - then he will reap yogic benefits out of it. Hence I feel that yoga sutras are very much interconnected with astrology - please provide your views on the same ?

But the world is sick and cannot comprehend the bodhi that lies behind their eyes and ears. I wish I had the Buddha's skillful use of words, but all i can do is make it easier on one person at a time.

The "Now" is important but not for the reasons stated. The Saiva Hindu Guru Patanjali meant that he was teaching Hindu, Male, Renunciant Yogis in training. IOW, they were fully grounded in the Hindu/Yoga Dharma before they were ready for Sannyas training. This fellow makes no mention of Hindu Dharma and uses the God word which has nothing to do with the Hindu/Yoga Dharma. BTW, there are six darsanas not three.
