KiwiRail on the MNPL Summer 2024 - Hawera to New Plymouth (4K)

Over 3 days in Summer we filmed along the Marton-New Plymouth line, in this segment we focus on the section between Hawera and New Plymouth which only sees one return service from Palmerston North a day.
We start off in Hawera where we see train 526 departing from Whareroa, we then follow the train to New Plymouth. We get to see Mount Taranaki at a few locations along the chase. We then chase the return service 521 back to Hawera ending the chase at Te Roti
Sit back and relax as the KiwiRail DL class work their way along this scenic section of line
