How grateful I am for a true and living prophet! I have struggled with mental illness and WOW 2020 made it no easier I can assure! But I have learned that my mental illness is a HUGE blessing. It has humbled be before my heavenly father and savior. I have learned that the savior is our foundation in a world of commotion and confusion. He is our anchor in the storms of life. The prince of peace and he will fill the humble and meek with his peace. I love my savior and my heavenly father and they love me and all of us!
President Nelson. I have listened this this message several times, making notes of ways I feel inspired. I love your counsel so much. I feel your love and it helps me feel Christ’s love better. In 2020 I have learned that I have value to my family and come to value them more also. I talk to my widowed mother and adult daughters regularly. This year in May because of Come Follow Me, I have finally started a daily gratitude journal in my Notes app on my phone. It is simple, but still powerful to look back and read the ways I have been blessed each day. This year I have also learned useful skills, such as removing old tile and installing new. I have improved my gardening skills. I even learned to go okra... in Idaho! While 2020 has given the world extra challenges, it has actually been a blessing to me.
I have observed Pres. Nelson's talks this conference. I can tell that he is speaking carefully as the spirit dictates to him. I want to learn to be that in-tuned with the spirit. You can also sense his sincere love for us.
Many if not all of the General Authorities have special moments where they suddenly talk slowly and carefully, even going so far as to say: “Listen carefully to what I’m about to say.” I believe these are Thus saith the Lord moments.
Me too, I needed this as long as the Lord is with me. I love and sustain President Russell M. Nelson. Thanks for many of his wonderful advices. I feel thankful for a prophet of God on this earth so he can guide and protect us in the future. Please help us.

From the Covid-19 shutdown and other recent events I have learned that I can do more than I thought I could. I don’t feel closer to the Lord because the temples are closed and my kids are home from school all the time. I have so much less time to ponder than I did before. But, I make time each morning to connect with God before the kids wake up. And priesthood blessings have helped me feel closer to the Lord as well. Also, reading with my children and connecting with them and my husband helps me feel close to the Lord.
@Mike I don’t know about you but I have several children I’m having to wake up, get dressed, get hooked up to computers for school, go to work, come home, do laundry, take care of dinner, check homework, family scripture study, etc... some pondering must be postponed
I don’t have a family just a husband and lots of nieces and nephews and during lockdown we found it difficult to help our nearby friends and family. President Nelson was prophetic with the use of Come Follow Me program and was great solace to my soul during this time. I didn’t see my 93 year old father for 8 months. Thank you dear President Nelson.........
This recent address by Russell M. Nelson has brought me peace during these unprecedented times we live in. His words of encouragement, a reminder of hope in our Savior, and his great desire to do the Lord's work. I am encouraged to do all that is within my power to follow the spirit of the Lord. He reminded us to be spiritually and temporally prepared to meet our Savior.
This is a most inspired message from the prophet of the Lord. I get to teach it in two weeks to our Elders Quorum, and I am so excited. As I listened again to this message this morning I contemplated that many of us have a food storage room of some kind with food supplies that can help us through difficult times of food or money shortages. We need to each also have a spiritual storage room where we can store supplies to help supply our families during times when the chapels and temples are closed. We have that in these conference talks, and in the scriptures. Spend time in that room every day, putting supplies on the shelves for yourself and your family. When supplies get low, restock these shelves.
I'm trying, it has been difficult to stay focused! I'm literally living in shock, from current events! Our nation is changing quickly, under this New administration! Our freedom in America is changing everyday! As a Temple worker, I truly miss the Temple and the sweet spirit that dwells there. I know that it's these time's in our lives to refine us and change us into who the Lord needs us to be to help the gospel move forward!🙏🙏🙏

No places of security will be safe without the Constitution and the laws of the Republic to secure them; and the voice of its people to preserve them. We must pray for the Lord to help us get our stolen elections back from arrogant, evil, corrupt people. I have been reading and pondering the Book of Mormon every 90 days. Did the Prophet say the latter part of the latter days? I decided to do it during the pandemic and started reading this last May, and finished in August. I started again in September, and just finished reading it for the second time this last Sunday. It's a really nice relaxed pace, and helps a lot to enjoy the Spirit. It has brought me peace!

Thank you, President Nelson, I will prepare my mind better. One thing I want to do is identify negative beliefs that are holding me back, and keeping me a prisoner. I know that they can be removed, and then my faith, hope, love of family and friends, and the health of my mind will grow...and my body will feel healthier. I am trying to figure out how to not get caught up in my favorite music on CZcams and iTunes and responding to people on social media at 9:00, and later. Also I need to not feel compelled at night to try to encourage those in our government who stand for the right. I contact others who I feel could do something better, and politely let them know what I have a feeling about. I also feel that with government leaders who try to be on the right track.

Turmoil is growing, we need great faith to stay on the path, I feel myself sometimes giving up hope and my faith is weakening, these times of trials are the beginning of the great sifting, I am not sure that I will make it.

I know what your saying. I have felt that way several times. It’s really hard. This is why we are asked to endure. I ask Father in Heaven to help me endure. If I have to stay awhile, then I want to find the peace and joy even here on this earth. Focus on joy and how to get it, even during tribulation. He can help us. Keep reading the Book of Mormon as it is our road map through it. Also the tree of life that Lehi and Nephi saw has me pondering on it more deeply.

When we live our life in the sole will of the Lord, then the outcome would be the best. We need not fear. We need only act accordingly and trustingly in His will. The faithful and obedient have spiritual blessings that are coming towards them.
Not sure why it says Barb point seven minutes it's 7 minutes that we pray and read four chapters in The Book of Mormon everyday it is saved Our Lives many of times God is talk to us at different times when we needed things through the scriptures
Just yesterday, I feel bad to myself, and I can't overcome the bad feeling that comes to my mind and heart until I was drowned and feel like wanted to get angry, I began to be uneasy and not comfortable anymore and angry. I began to hurt myself and think that I am not worthy, I am not the kind of daughter that Heavenly Father wants to be.. I started to felt all the negativities to myself. After hurting myself, physically, I felt comfort and I relaxed and sleep, then I woke up this morning, and decided to watch a talk from general conference thinking that I might hear something that could help me in my problem with myself, then I went to this video, it popped up after searching general conference.. and I was amazed that this talk is exactly for me. It talks specifically for women, and I felt that Heavenly Father through the Prophet Nelson is talking to me and giving me comfort and forgiveness for what I did not just yesterday but whenever my natural man triggered me. I am grateful for the Spirit that I felt. I am grateful for this talk. tears comes to my mind and heart as I was listening to this message.. I felt that it is I, with the influence of Satan that really thinks negativities to myself. But now I know that God don't see me as that. He wants me to feel that I am loved and I am worthy, so I would do that. I would do my best to be what Heavenly Father wants me to be.. and say Get thee hence Satan! :)
Yeah is crazy times but wonderful times as well we are literally seeing prophecies fulfilled. Im glad you found peace dont hurt yourself though. If your feeling down pray for the spirit and open the scriptures or watch a general conference talk. We have hundreds of them. Realize even tho were all apart were all one in purpose and resolve and share our love of the gospel and work toward the promises to the righteous. So pray and watch take heart and fear not little flock. d and c 26 Lift up your hearts and be glad, your redemption draweth nigh. 27 Fear not, little flock, the kingdom is yours until I come. Behold, I come quickly. Even so. Amen.
President Nelson as a man for our time. And as Jesus said, 'In this life you shall have tribulations, but be a good cheer for I have overcome the world.' President Nelson has overcome many obstacles and gives us words of peace not words of contention but words of peace. He is a man of love and governs this Church with peace in these turbulent times. I'm grateful for him.
Preparation IS the key to embracing this dispensation. And Heavely Father and Jesus hqve been preparing their people all along. Every Conference talk has blatantly told how to or there has been tidbits about how to prepare. Sister Nelson said in a conference I attended, What would you do if you knew Jesus had appeared to multitudes of people?... telling people that Jesus IS visiting His people already. Knowing that, members can live in ways that qualify them for seeing Jesus too. Pres Nelson declaring that a hinge point has occured. (Sorry can't remember the event that is the hinge point. I just remember his words.) Getting out of debt.... avoiding debt is a preparation. Gathering daily living supplies is a preparation. Praying daily, reading the Book of Mormon especially, taking the sacrament, family prayer etc are all preparations. So it might be said by a person, ... But I've done all that! And I don't feel prepared and I'm afraid.... They deserve to know God has been preparing them. God has been preparing ALL who listen to Him. He has been preparing His people for almost 200 years. It can be startling just to imagine that kind of love and commitment to His people. By the time Lehi in the Book of Mormon was told to leave Jerusalem the Lord had already given him visions. Preparing the family had already happened. Only stupid or naive fathers come to their families and say, We're doing cliff diving tomorrow, so put on your swim suits, let's go..... without any preparation. Our Lord Jesus Christ has been preparing His people for this amazing time since the 1800's. From the moment Joseph Smith touched the gold plates, preparing His people continued in these times. Men being chased by other men with swords carried the Book of Mormon to write in it and keep it safe.... FOR THIS TIME. Joseph Smith a very young man brought us the Book of Mormon to tell Jesus' people how civilizations die.... that's a warning which encourages preparation. There are examples after examples of how a God prepares His people, not leaving them stranded and alone for what is to come. Jesus has warned, taught and prepared His people. Just because I don't do my part after He has done ALL of His huge part doesn't mean I'm unloved. He IS love and He has been doing His part for always. And His people have been preparing ALL THIS TIME. Does that mean His people have every item needed and are perfectly prepared? Don't be silly. Just because Jesus is perfect doesn't mean His people are. And imperfection is not a death sentence either. An extra can of food bought(if you eat canned food) IS preparing. Not eating out and forcing oneself to put that money on the heavy credit card debt IS preparing. Listening to Conference talks is preparing. Studying the Book of Mormon and other scriptures especially about this time is preparing. Then when lots if hungry and ragged people come to town or city people are prepared to act like the Savior and give and tend and serve others. Then when media lies people can be above it and less affected by its lies and live in greater internal peace. Then when an election appears to go wrong people can wait patiently in peace for it to turn right and for the true elected leader to feed millions later. Then when an earthquake hits people can say, Lord I'm excited to see how you're going to keep my house standing if it be thy will. A prepared people can stand on the shore of the Red Sea with Egyptian charioteers behind them and they can say, I'm excited to see the miracle of the Lord. Or be on a boat with the Lord and say, I am safe cuz I will stay in the boat with the person who created this sea and this very wind. Or write on a metal record and see ALL your people destroyed and feel at peace and know that metal record would save lives and prepare a people for the next great upheaval on that same continent. Or build a boat so large it would house thousands of living things and people in it for months, and say, I'm looking forward to see how the Lord pulls this one off! The history of the followers of the Lord is a preparation for people today to say, I can't wait to see the miracle of how the ten tribes come back! Or, I wonder if l'll be close enough to see a city come from space back to the earth? Or, I'd like to see the prophet prepare the people for no church before there is no more church. (Oh wait, that miracle happened. ;^)) Or people will say, I'm looking forward to seeing my small offering of food multiplied for many, cuz I know that exact thing has happened before. The Bible has prepared this people. The Book of Mormon is a template for this time to prepare people and warn. Jesus is coming. And He has always prepared His people for their trials, preservation, thriving. Jesus always does His part. Always. He has prepared His people. It'd be kind of nice if they knew that. Then how might they, we, me feel?

It would be wonderful if someone could do a pass on the audio of this talk. It is wonderful and helpful, but the repeat plosive whistle in the mic is very difficult on those with hearing aids or sound sensitivities and distracts from the message
I have a friend in her 70s, who doesn't hear well, and has tinnitus besides hearing loss. She also has poor eyesight. Church meetings are very challenging for those folks who have no idea what is being said.

You know that feeling when you've waited in the waiting room at the doctor's for a longer period of time and then they take you back and realize that you are going to be waiting even longer and don't know how long the wait will be. That's how I feel.
I know what your saying. I have felt that way several times. It’s really hard. This is why we are asked to endure. I ask Father in Heaven to help me endure. If I have to stay awhile, then I want to find the peace and joy even here on this earth. Focus on joy and how to get it, even during tribulation. He can help us. Keep reading the Book of Mormon as it is our road map through it. Also the tree of life that Lehi and Nephi saw has me pondering on it more deeply.

This quote provides comfort to me. With the Lord, we need not fear. When we live our life in the sole will of the Lord, then the outcome would be the best. We need not fear. We need only act accordingly and trustingly in His will. The faithful and obedient have spiritual blessings that are coming towards them.

My friend Annette and I read 4 chapters and pray 4 .7 minutes
Not sure why it says Barb point seven minutes it's 7 minutes that we pray and read four chapters in The Book of Mormon everyday it is saved Our Lives many of times God is talk to us at different times when we needed things through the scriptures
Just yesterday, I feel bad to myself, and I can't overcome the bad feeling that comes to my mind and heart until I was drowned and feel like wanted to get angry, I began to be uneasy and not comfortable anymore and angry. I began to hurt myself and think that I am not worthy, I am not the kind of daughter that Heavenly Father wants to be.. I started to felt all the negativities to myself. After hurting myself, physically, I felt comfort and I relaxed and sleep, then I woke up this morning, and decided to watch a talk from general conference thinking that I might hear something that could help me in my problem with myself, then I went to this video, it popped up after searching general conference.. and I was amazed that this talk is exactly for me. It talks specifically for women, and I felt that Heavenly Father through the Prophet Nelson is talking to me and giving me comfort and forgiveness for what I did not just yesterday but whenever my natural man triggered me. I am grateful for the Spirit that I felt. I am grateful for this talk. tears comes to my mind and heart as I was listening to this message.. I felt that it is I, with the influence of Satan that really thinks negativities to myself. But now I know that God don't see me as that. He wants me to feel that I am loved and I am worthy, so I would do that. I would do my best to be what Heavenly Father wants me to be.. and say Get thee hence Satan! :)
Yeah is crazy times but wonderful times as well we are literally seeing prophecies fulfilled. Im glad you found peace dont hurt yourself though. If your feeling down pray for the spirit and open the scriptures or watch a general conference talk. We have hundreds of them. Realize even tho were all apart were all one in purpose and resolve and share our love of the gospel and work toward the promises to the righteous. So pray and watch take heart and fear not little flock. d and c 26 Lift up your hearts and be glad, your redemption draweth nigh.

President Nelson as a man for our time. And as Jesus said, 'In this life you shall have tribulations, but be a good cheer for I have overcome the world.' President Nelson has overcome many obstacles and gives us words of peace not words of contention but words of peace. He is a man of love and governs this Church with peace in these turbulent times. I'm grateful for him.
Preparation IS the key to embracing this dispensation. And Heavely Father and Jesus hqve been preparing their people all along. Every Conference talk has blatantly told how to or there has been tidbits about how to prepare.
Sister Nelson said in a conference I attended, What would you do if you knew Jesus had appeared to multitudes of people?... telling people that Jesus IS visiting His people already. Knowing that, members can live in ways that qualify them for seeing Jesus too.
Pres Nelson declaring that a hinge point has occured. (Sorry can't remember the event that is the hinge point. I just remember his words.)
Getting out of debt.... avoiding debt is a preparation.
Gathering daily living supplies is a preparation.
Praying daily, reading the Book of Mormon especially, taking the sacrament, family prayer etc are all preparations.
So it might be said by a person, ... But I've done all that! And I don't feel prepared and I'm afraid.... They deserve to know God has been preparing them. God has been preparing ALL who listen to Him. He has been preparing His people for almost 200 years. It can be startling just to imagine that kind of love and commitment to His people. By the time Lehi in the Book of Mormon was told to leave Jerusalem the Lord had already given him visions. Preparing the family had already happened.
Only stupid or naive fathers come to their families and say, We're doing cliff diving tomorrow, so put on your swim suits, let's go..... without any preparation.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has been preparing His people for this amazing time since the 1800's. From the moment Joseph Smith touched the gold plates, preparing His people continued in these times. Men being chased by other men with swords carried the Book of Mormon to write in it and keep it safe.... FOR THIS TIME. Joseph Smith a very young man brought us the Book of Mormon to tell Jesus' people how civilizations die.... that's a warning which encourages preparation.
There are examples after examples of how a God prepares His people, not leaving them stranded and alone for what is to come. Jesus has warned, taught and prepared His people. Just because I don't do my part after He has done ALL of His huge part doesn't mean I'm unloved. He IS love and He has been doing His part for always. And His people have been preparing ALL THIS TIME.
Does that mean His people have every item needed and are perfectly prepared? Don't be silly. Just because Jesus is perfect doesn't mean His people are. And imperfection is not a death sentence either. An extra can of food bought(if you eat canned food) IS preparing. Not eating out and forcing oneself to put that money on the heavy credit card debt IS preparing. Listening to Conference talks is preparing. Studying the Book of Mormon and other scriptures especially about this time is preparing.
Then when lots if hungry and ragged people come to town or city people are prepared to act like the Savior and give and tend and serve others. Then when media lies people can be above it and less affected by its lies and live in greater internal peace. Then when an election appears to go wrong people can wait patiently in peace for it to turn right and for the true elected leader to feed millions later. Then when an earthquake hits people can say, Lord I'm excited to see how you're going to keep my house standing if it be thy will.
A prepared people can stand on the shore of the Red Sea with Egyptian charioteers behind them and they can say, I'm excited to see the miracle of the Lord. Or be on a boat with the Lord and say, I am safe cuz I will stay in the boat with the person who created this sea and this very wind. Or write on a metal record and see ALL your people destroyed and feel at peace and know that metal record would save lives and prepare a people for the next great upheaval on that same continent. Or build a boat so large it would house thousands of living things and people in it for months, and say, I'm looking forward to see how the Lord pulls this one off!
The history of the followers of the Lord is a preparation for people today to say, I can't wait to see the miracle of how the ten tribes come back! Or, I wonder if l'll be close enough to see a city come from space back to the earth? Or, I'd like to see the prophet prepare the people for no church before there is no more church. (Oh wait, that miracle happened. ;^)) Or people will say, I'm looking forward to seeing my small offering of food multiplied for many, cuz I know that exact thing has happened before.
The Bible has prepared this people. The Book of Mormon is a template for this time to prepare people and warn.
Jesus is coming. And He has always prepared His people for their trials, preservation, thriving. Jesus always does His part. Always. He has prepared His people. It'd be kind of nice if they knew that. Then how might they, we, me feel?
Love our Prophet, the twelve Apostles the Seventies and all who serve in His church. May God continue to bless each one.

I have a friend in her 70s, who doesn't hear well, and has tinnitus besides hearing loss. She also has poor eyesight. Church meetings are very challenging for those folks who have no idea what is being said.
