SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
FOR SUBMITTING YOUR OWN CHARACTER INTERVIEWS:
DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 1st 2016
GUIDELINES:
Start by making sure your filming space is quiet, and with good lighting. Natural sunlight is great if you can get it!
Preferably we would like submissions to be resolution 1920x1080
Next, upload the video to CZcams and put it's privacy settings to "unlisted," (NOT private) and then message us the link over Facebook
If you want to make your full interview public, we would ask that you wait until AFTER the release of the Global Edition episode.
QUESTIONS:
The very first thing you must do is say, on camera, "I agree to allow Larp House to use this footage for their web show."
Then, the interview begins!
Start by stating your REAL first name and the larp in which you play the character, and the country or state/province in which the larp takes place.
The rest of the questions will be in-character until stated otherwise:
What is your name?
How old are you?
What is your race (or culture)?
Tell me about your race (or culture).
What do you do?
How did you start adventuring?
How do you feel about good and evil?
What is your attitude towards money?
What is a long term goal you are trying to achieve?
Let's say you accomplish all the things you want. What do you see yourself doing after you retire from adventuring?
Tell me about your family.
Is there anybody special in your life?
What is your greatest fear?
Tell me one random fact about yourself.
What hobbies do you have?
What is one thing you never leave home without?
What is the message that you would send to the world if you could?

I've found that using ultra/hydracal, in a two part mold, allows the latex to cure better being that latex cures through moisture evaporation and the plaster helps by drawing the moisture out.
Awesome! I didn't know cabosil was also useful for silicone. I thought just bondo. Now, to get myself to the hardware store for a respirator before even opening the container. 😆 Thanks for the tip!

Also, what colours can use to color the latex? Can I use make-up or pastel chalk or pencils and then seal them, or will the color come off?

My ears need to be blue for a cosplay I'm doing. Will acrylic paint work as well to colour the Latex? or would it be better to paint it after?
Hey! If you mix a little latex in with the acrylic paint then you can paint the ears with that, but it's usually better to paint the ears with the makeup you use on the rest of your face if you want an exact color match. You can always paint them with acrylic paint and then touch up the color with the makeup to blend it :)

I’m having trouble getting the latex to stick to the silicone mold, any tips on how you got yours to work?
If I want really long ears do I add a wire in it
Dumb question: Can I just take the molded ears into a cup and pour the latex in the cup, then wait a few hours and then have the template? it sounds easier than pouring thick latex over the molded ears.

Lynn Rider hey! SOME larp games do have age limits; but many of them will let underage wizards play if they bring a guardian and sign a waiver :) And it never hurts to ask! I'm so glad you and your friend are interested!

What would you use if you were allergic to latex?
CL Wilson you’d need to cast them in silicone, which is a completely different process after you cast your ears in stone- but there are tutorials online!
would I be able to use polymer clay instead of modeling clay?
