I mean I see the debate over people saying wich deckset is better but they both look fun to use so just get both if you can and you don't have to debate about it
plus, if you have a printer, or know someone that does, you can just proxy the cards if you can't afford the decksets. of course, it would be better to buy them, because then you can at least participate in local tournaments, but with friends, proxying should be perfectly fine, because it's practising with a deck before you decide to dump money into buying the cards

Shiranuis skills and cards are mostly locked to stride turns. Most of the cards are combo pieces, so(at least out of the box from what I can tell) is to wait for stride to pop off. While luard can technically just early rush from turn 1, if the opponent goes for your rear guards, it increases your ritual. If not, you still have 3 attacks ...
Shiranui is basically locked out of playing the game until striding because if you call the rear guards early (especially the restanders) then people will just swing at them and then their later turns are ass cheeks.
Well luard being unfair and unbalaced for the third time, bushi didnt learned from past mistakes.
But its kinda cool that shiranui is almost as good

Nah it's not anywhere near as broken. The good thing about the deck is being able to actually go off and build a board from nothing but you can still easily rush it down. It needs to survive to second stride to get a near guaranteed win.
