- K·B Toys (also known as Kay Bee Toys)[1] was an American chain of mall-based retail toy stores. The company was founded in 1922 as Kaufman Brothers, a wholesale candy store. The company opened a wholesale toy store in 1946, and ended its candy wholesales two years later to focus entirely on the toy industry. Retail sales began in the 1970s, under the name Kay-Bee Toy & Hobby
Thank you to Orions Angel for letting me use his footage.

Loved this place. They a stocked a lot of quirky items that you wouldn't find at discount stores.
thanks for watching
Used to love visiting KB Toys in the local mall where i live. They were small stores but,fun to visit. Thanks Eric!.😎
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, and the history behind it👍
thanks for watching my friend. Is Hustle Q ok? Haven't seen any new videos.
@@EricCProductions76 I saw a video recently where he was getting over a sickness. On the video he seemed fine, just recovering.
@@bigbroauctions he hasn't posted anything since then...hopefully he is ok and just busy.
Lionel Kiddie City would be a great video. It opened in the 1960's and closed in the early 90's. They had over 150 stores.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will put it on the list.
Another great video Eric! I loved KayBee, I am an avid doll and vintage toy collector and loved going there beck in the day. Fun memories Thanks!
thank you for your support and thanks for watching
We had one at Fairlane Mall in Dearborn Michigan
I bought die cast cars from their Toy Liquidators outlet at the Folsom Premium Outlets.
Out KB store was in the mall between a Friendly s icecream restaurant and Hallmark card store, was so sad when it went out😭
that was my go to place at the mall. Thanks for watching
something about it mostly being in the mall made it less spectacular to me as a kid. not when Toys "Я" Us was a massive store just across the parking lot.
thanks for sharing that info
Did you see that some form of a KB toys was in an episode of Hawkeye on Disney+? I don't think it was an actual defunct store but I did hear that Strategic Marks licensed the logo to them for the show.
I didn't notice it.I guess I will have to go back and rewatch the series. Thanks.
@@EricCProductions76 It's when him and Kate were kidnapped by the track suit mafia. They are taped to horses. I forget which episode exactly. The logo pops up a few times. Looks more like a warehouse though, not a retail store.
@@LordDewi I remember, I wasn't paying attention enough to notice it was KB Toys.
Several defunct retail chains I suggest you research and make videos on are: The Treasury, White Front, and Uncles
Thank you for your suggestions. I will put Uncles on my list. Here are the other two for you:

@@EricCProductions76 Uncles was an old electronics store. They had cheesy commercials
