- Anchor Blue Inc. (formerly Miller's Outpost) was an American clothing retailer which had over 100 stores in the western United States. It generally sold its own Anchor Blue brand name of youth-oriented denim, graphic T-shirts and casual clothing.[1] Sometimes the company was referred to as the Anchor Blue Inc., but their retail clothing chain of stores was labeled as Anchor Blue. The Anchor Blue and Miller's Outpost brands were acquired by Perry Ellis International in 2012

I worked at Miller's Outpost in Burbank CA when I was in high school from 1986-1990. We provided wardrobes for the studios for soap, tv and movies. I met alot of celebrities. As a teen it was a great experience.
I worked for Miller's Outpost as an Asst Manager at the North Hollywood store in the early 70's.
Never heard of Miller Outpost before.Looked like a fun place to shop. Thanks Eric!.
I don't have any memories of actually going to Miller's Outpost; but I wish I had the opportunity to go there back in the late 80s and early 90s.
used to do my school shopping there. The old locations had a western theme inside
Thank you for finding that commercial. Absolutely made my day.
thanks for watching
Could just imagine the strong aroma of new blue jeans, country style fixtures and look, and people all over trying on Levi jeans saying "dose this make my butt look big" or " these are to tight". Great video!
i remmeber how cool i thought i was when i went to Miller Outpost and bought some levis and Anchor Blue cargo pants back in high school.
I liked the look of the original Millers Outpost. Looked like I was in the old west getting modern clothes.
Loved Miller's Outpost! I have a picture somewhere of my old crush back in junior high/high school holding a Miller's bag.
I think once Miller's became Anchorblue I stopped shopping there.
me too. I miss Millers Outpost more.
I remember hearing about the store millers outpost, I don’t know if I’ve ever been as I lived in a small town that didn’t offer much. But I did shop at Anchor Blue in the mid to late 2000’s. I didn’t know they were the same company
I shopped at Millers Outpost as a kid and never shopped at Anchor Blue when they changed over.
My favorite store, they had a good Levi’s jeans selections.
thanks for watching
I sure do remember Miller's Outpost. Totally a mall store. In the 70s, being a mall rat was the cool thing to do and I remember this store being there. Seems they were big into Levi's and catered to the younger crowd. I hadn't heard this name in years. Thanks! Isn't Anchor Blue still around?
Micky Dolenz did some commercials for them.
The anchor blue was the beginning of their undoing. No one I knew went to millers outpost for anchor blue, they went fr the brand names.
thanks for watching
At time code 3:19, there's a clip of three people (guy, girl, guy) walking in unison... Is that from a longer commercial, at the beach, where a guy does a Russian jump split (jump it air, touch toes)?
Had to go to macys' brass rail after they closed.
Will you do a video of "Do You Remember White Tower Hamburgers restaurants?"
I will put it on my list. Thanks. Also, did you watch Hecks? I got it right this time.
