Here's what's important: when stuff gets stringy, you want a reliable weapon made in usa, so that ammo and parts will be available (one way or another). M&P plus is tops in every department, including cost..
This is a Solid choice for conceal and carry, plus personal defense with the purchase of another 13rnd back up mag.

I’m a 40cal 10mm guy but I love the shield 9mm and that’s the lowest caliber I’ll ever go. I live in California so the shield plus is in my to buy list. Again for summer the shield is perfect fit

When you’re venturing into the world of Micro 9 handguns there’s many trade offs to consider. IMHO the Shield Plus is the best of all worlds
I’ve carried a few different and guns over the years in the woods. It would mainly depend on where you were located in the country and what you were doing in the woods. Weight is definitely a factor. I’ve carried the G30 during alternative season for Whitetail. All the way down to my G 43 for playing at the river. Shield plus is going to be a nice replacement with capacity and still lightweight.

Not Compared to The G43,, is pretty snappy !! Comes down to the ammo and grip. For the most part, any subcompact firearm is snappy, compared to full size in my opinion.
3inch barrels are horrible period . Carry a 4.5 it’s not hard to conceal
I agree on the 4.5 for velocity. Still they are very accurate for 3” and for self defense should be sufficient.
I think the Hellcat is in my future!

I have them both.I think I like the m&p shield plus better though. Again, both are good firearms.that's why bought them both.
I bought a brand new Springfield Hellcat OSP 2 months ago, and I'm already at almost 1100 rounds through it and I have not had any single Jam. This thing is incredible. I do have a shield 45 and I have not had a single jam in it either but I only have maybe 250 rounds through it. Very comfortable to shoot, but it depends on where I am carrying that dictates which handgun I want to have on me. I've heard the shield plus is fantastic 🙂

@@ozarkmountainoutdooradventures smith is great really can’t go wrong with either . Actually I like the smith more than my hellcat . But the new fn has the best trigger out the box period maybe better than the Walther . Better sights better feel

SD9VE 🪶👑and 🛡+/G3C are some of the best budget edcs out,SD9 fits all MP9 4-5in Tlr1/7 holsters can always just download compacts to 10/12rd EDC over smaller guns too,the 🛡+ TS tlr6 🚫lasers is the best niche carry out however the G3C just dremel 1/3 12rd mags flush same size/more capacity 15/17/20rds takes glock Ameriglo cap sights fits the Tlr7/G19 tlr6’s either is great for the money for backup/edc,but G26🥷/G23👑💨🦌🐗🐻 are the only two glocks you’ll ever need in life but nowadays best to EDC the reliable budgets crime is cheap these glocks aren’t 😂
I’m a Budget Guy and stock Glocks have been my GoTo in the past. This is the first M&P I’ve owned. Been carrying the G27 and I still love it.
@@ozarkmountainoutdooradventures almost got the G27 they’re always on sale got the G26 1st best edc decision ever found G23/27s on sale everywhere later 🤣but for .40 compacts are better for velocity/recoil and 9s Great all around still shines in short barrels for SC/Micros stick to 115/124g
@@kenshin034 when I got the G27 was shopping for the G26, and told myself I could get an conversion barrel and some G26 mags and have both Firearms .
I love my G27 it’s a bit snappy but it’s a hard hittin son of a gun!!

But I have the +2 mag extension making it 11+1. So when it’s the one in my CCW rotation I feel nice a comfortable knowing anyone on the receiving end is having a bad day!! Lol 😂
