IIRC we paid a $75 insurance deposit at the TUI office in Champions Gate along with few bits of paperwork that’s required by state law. As for distance we flew into Sanford back in 2019 and it was an hour or so drive but TUI fly into Melbourne now so it will probably take a bit longer. This Villa was located in Tuscan Hills but unless you book a particular area you can be given any as far away as Davenport. I love driving over there as you can see from the rental Tahoe (worth the upgrade in my opinion) so the distances aren’t too much of a problem for us but I personally wouldn’t recommend it if you’re not driving and using taxis.
