The fact that some of them can't go back because they have nothing to go back to doesn't mean you should discourage people to do so. I used to come with some Africans before and everyday they complain and moan about the nation all day. Too much negativity which drains you and your time to the extent that you realised that you haven't achieved anything. As an African American I knew that the videos they were showing about Africa were lies. And poverty is in every country, but yeah I didn’t believe much of what they said about Africa maybe because of how I was raised and that I lived in the Southern part of America. In the northern parts of America like New York there seems to be some tension between African Americans (Black Americans) and Africans but I think it’s getting better now from a decade ago. Africans Americans are raised and experience different thing depending on which part of the United States they are from. So to all the African brothers and sisters just know that not all of us believed that negative narrative these women in the video is proof of it. I got nothing but love for all of you!

I enjoy wearing ethnic clothes and head wraps, most people just stare at me. I love the colors it brings out the best in me. The problem is finding a reasonable ethnic clothing store on line that cater to the plus size women. I will continue to keep up with you, so keep posting. Mrs. Loretta West

    This is just amazing. Seeing three generations in Ghana 🇬🇭 wow 🤩
    Only on Wode Maya’s channel. The issue with African Americans and Africa is purely lack of education. We do not know each other’s struggles. Africans don’t really know and understand the struggles of African Americans (racial discrimination.....)And African Americans don’t understand Africans struggle with colonialism and neocolonialism. You hardly get exposed to such education in Middle School and High School. Even in the University, if you don’t take classes in such discipline you still won’t understand the struggles. College kids who are exposed to different walks of life will react differently and answer such questions differently. This family is really well rounded. Thanks 🙏 again for such an amazing interview. Through Wode Maya’s lens we are getting to know real stories. The misconception will always exist because it’s gone through the 4 corners of the World 🌍 but Wode Maya and others are changing the narrative. Her message, come and experience Africa for yourself.

    • @TheSENYO
      @TheSENYO Před 3 lety

      @Antonio Stewart Your assertion is received. However I don’t know who sold what you term your people into Slavery. Africa is a continent comprising of 54 countries. You can’t say Africans sold your people into slavery. Let me ask you ; You say you are an Israelite, if your fellow brother commit crime against you, do you say the whole Israelites commit that crime.? You might want to research and get answers. If Yaweh created Adam and Eve and they populated the earth 🌍 then who are we. You might want to stop this blame game, because without Judas, there won’t be a betrayal of Jesus. Who sold Joseph into slavery in Egypt? His own brothers, who killed Abel? His own brother, so get your facts checked. If you believe your assertion then it might be that your great great great father, uncle or relation sold your people into slavery. No offense am just sharing opinion. Africans compromising of 54 countries; Egypt 🇪🇬, Libya 🇱🇾, Sudan 🇸🇩, Kenya 🇰🇪, Mauritania 🇲🇷, Mali 🇲🇱, South Africa 🇿🇦, Ghana 🇬🇭, Nigeria 🇳🇬 you name them all, did not sell anyone. Would you be happy if someone told you African Americans kill their own people? In your case Israelites the chosen ones kill their own people? Look for the culprit and not conclusively claim that all Africans sold your people. My opinion
