    stop throwing shade on introverts! we're excellent communicators, because we THINK before we speak, and we're excellent listeners. i'm actually pretty good at public speaking, but it took some work on my part. we're also low key and patient, by and large - all the more useful to tolerate all the boorish assholes extroverts can be at times, particularly when they're at their worst.
    if you're an introvert: ignore this bullshit! go put yourself out there, do what you want to do, but just realize, you'll probably need some down time afterward to recharge and re-center.

    Hey Tommy I love your videos man. I notice you spend a lot of time differentiating between public police and private security. What are you thoughts on public security? In my case I work for two public agencies as a "public safety officer" and as a "facility security agent." Both jobs are very similar because I work for the government and provide security services/law enforcement for the government (I'm not a contractor from some company, I'm an actual government officer/agent and I have "special police" powers). Just wondering if you've ever heard of such a thing. Thanks dude

    • @freefieldtraining
      @freefieldtraining  Před 7 lety +2

      +007Vaughn We have similar things at our community and state colleges and universities here. We also have "special officers" who work for tiff districts in areas of Chicago that have limited police powers and "community service officers" and "code enforcement officers" who work for pd's. I have never really had an issue with any security guards who work for public agencies. I have also not had much interaction with them either. To be honest I have had more interaction and have more to say about private police than I do about public security since railroad police and private university police are a big thing here. Without more context I really can't give you more opinion.

    I NEED SOME ADVICE FOR COURT
    I am a jailer and an inmate told me he needed to get out of a cell due to a problem with another inmate. He would not tell me who he had beef with so I didn't believe him. An hour later, he got into a fight with two others. They were all charged with assault and I got a supena to go to court as a witness to the fight as the responding officer.
    What is the best defense for me to articulate in court if his defense for the fight was that he told the officer and says I should be liable?

Big builds can be very deceptive, out of all the people I've ever sparred with, I always get nervous when I have to go toe to toe with someone that has a couple extra LBs on them, because they hit farking hard... that being said, I do get where you're coming from. Physical fitness is very important for maintaining mental agility...

      Hooyah, big guys hit hard but not always. Proper technique is everything, generating power with your hips, snapping your punches. Out of my 9 amateur fights in the US and my one professional fight in Thailand I've beaten every guy that I went up in weight to fight with a KO or TKO, the only guys to beat me were skinny and quick. Just an observation. You can tell if someone has the mental toughness to fight though its pretty apparent.
