Thanks for the kind words buddy. Yeah it is their loss. They handled the situation all wrong. What got me, was that it was a blanket ban for all drivers, zero social media post about their units or where they are, or have been. And only me and mark (trucker fitton) were reprimanded. Rest of the usual posters on Facebook never stopped. I cannot stand the ‘one rule for one person, and the rest can do as they wish’ Doesn’t sit right with me that behaviour. Yeah all quits. Gave me a start and I was proud to have worked for them. Shame it ended the way it did.

Not for Stobarts, 95% of their loads are 1 drop ‘full loads’ Anything over 1 drop I’d say is a multiple (multi) drop. But yeah I know other companies make their money loading up 10-20 drops on a truck. 3 was a nice day. Any more and it wouldn’t have been as nice 😅

Hi Andy what does the hourly rate be when you pass stobart driving school do you get paid while training or when you passed only for the day or all training days
They no longer pay you while you’re training. Only after you pass. The rates have recently gone up, not sure what to. A night driver told me it went up 10p an hour 🤣

Why don't local businesses engage with the local coucil to lay down more double yellow around entrances on light industrial parks? There are no residential issues etc. Why do car owners park their cars in jeapordy? Obviousley a local worker, so is aware of the movements of large vehs. Never mind, Utopia is just around the blind side corner! LOL!
why don't you just go back to a warm office job! its safe, you know it! driving jobs in the UK are shockingly bad and under paid! you gave it a go but surely you can learn from it and move on!
I love driving, and that has never wavered. I’m on a lot more money than when I was miserable in an office job. Can’t think of anything worse to be honest.

When I was based there they run you for every hour they could get out of you I just told them no in the end I'm not doing it 😂
