These players, except for Kudus and a few others, are a disgrace. We didn't even win one game?! Losing games in the last 5 minutes?! This game had no attack in the Second Half - and then Chris Hughton brought on Andre Ayew?! What's that man gonna do? And why is Offori playing instead of Atu Zigi?! To be honest they didn't deserve to go through playing rubbish like this in every game. Better to come back and reset the entire Ghana National Squad project, and build a team around Kudus. Otherwise, Ghanaians will not be bothered about this national team any more.
Before the tournament began, most Ghanaians knew the team was not good , no one is really surprised. This is just a group of guys with talent but no team play. The team could barely create chances from open play and 2 penalties was how we we going to win the game is horrible. Can someone tell me how Ghana's team is made up mostly international players and they play like is their first time touching the ball. No understanding or coordination among the players. Egypt's team was made of mostly local players and they can still put a good performance.

This is why they play Jim on the wings, not in the middle he holds onto the ball too much, drop him, and he is not good enough to play on the wings for Ghana he doesn't have the speed of other players. Why bring Egypt in this Ghana needs to focus on what when wrong in this tournament and the past tournaments for me my take is Ghana was comfortable with the 2-0 at first then they got a surprise from Mozambique at the second half. I think Ghana needs to dissolve this team and management and come back because Ghana haven’t been winning nothing games trophies etc for the past three tournaments the past afcon World Cup and this year afcon this isn’t the Ghana football I grew up watching Ghana always have a good time when you talk about football in Africa you most count Ghana black star I love Ghana and I always support them when it comes to football but lately only disappointment. No one is entitled to winning games, I feel this Ghanaian team win games before they even play them and that a silly mentality to have, this is African football, there are no small teams, the sooner Ghana stops undermining opposition the more they will move closer back to the black stars of old
The following are my personal observations about the black stars: 1. The state of all our national teams is very bad with the exception of black queens. So we shouldn't look at the performance of the black stars only. The cause is the GFA since they don't give us a top class coach. 2. There's much improvement in African Football now but because the black stars have been playing with the heart of Ghanaians we don't see it. Just the ongoing AFCON tournament is a clear evidence. All the big countries in Africa are struggling playing with the lower teams. 3. Black stars lack concentration. I've noticed this from the last AFCON at Cameroun throughout the world cup, qualification matches and up to the ongoing AFCON at Ivory coast. GFA should get a psychologist for them. 4. The GFA and almost the past coaches don't have respect for the guys who are playing in our local league since they don't give them the chance to prove what they can also offer to help the black stars. They always invite them to prevent Ghanaians from questioning them. 5. GFA should employe a top class coach to handle the black stars since Individually the boys are talented. Else age will catch up with them without they doing nothing for the nation. What a shameful performance from Black Stars @ AFCON 2023???? 😢😢😢
I swear to God, Charles Taylor, Don Bortey, Oduro, Chipsah, etc the current age and state are still better than 70% of this squad! Who can convince me that Ofori is better our local keepers? He isn’t better than any of them. Not even division 1 keepers.
