This is peak AFCON. Mozambique played like a team actually trying to qualify for the knockouts and deserved a result. My best friend is Ghanaian and shocked at how badly they blew it, but the reality is Ghana were underwhelming and uninspired the whole tournament. No way Hughton keeps his job after that.

What I like about Ghana they never fail to intertain us, they always give us something to laugh about
Another bleak chapter in Ghanaian football. Getting kicked out by Comoros in the last group wasn't bad enough, this tops it. At 2-0 with a few minutes, you expected composure and cool heads but Ghana shown anything but. A silly penalty and awful defending within minutes sums up Ghana since losing the AFCON final in 2015. The fact the Ayew brothers still play should tell you the Ghanaian FA aren't serious. They are never serious. I am neither Ghanaian nor African but I have some Ghanaian friends and they all told me Ghana FA is absolutely corrupt and rotten to the core. Unless something changes drastically within short period of time, I expect more of this in the coming years

Everything my other Ghanaian brothers told you is almost 💯% GFA is the problem of Ghana football. Corruption has engulfed the association and what they do there is business and politics, not football. If not for Corruption, Hugston would not be Blackstars' manager. I know he is typing his resignation letter as I type here. We have committed and quality players. However, most have to pay or a player must know someone to be selected. It's better they have been eliminated and are coming home. Trust me, those happier with this exit are over 30% more than those sad. And about 40% of those sad aren't that sad for their exit. They are sad because they have made Sportybet and betway rich 😂

Bien por MOZ que hizo la travesura a GHA, pero aunque quedaron eliminados, demostraron que puede superar las adversidades (y los errores cometidos) alcanzando el empate. Una pena que hayan quedado ya fuera, pero por lo menos se fueron dignamente.
