I have the following questions: (1) Did you use a recruiter or did you direct apply to the companies that you applied to; (2) If you did use a recruiter, how did you find one and what is required to be represented by one; (3) tips and strategies to excel in an online/Zoom interview; (4) questions that we should ask associates as opposed to senior attorneys and/or partners in an interview; and (5) what do you enjoy most about working at an investment bank as opposed to a law firm? I'm so happy I found your channel :) I found you through a comment you left on lipsticks and lattes' channel and I had to come check you out - I love Grace, been following her years, and so it's so nice to find another channel where your vibe is similar to hers. You two are like my role models. I'm currently a 2L and I did a summer in the real estate department of a big law firm downtown in my city and it totally lived up to the fun hype that being a Big City Gal looks to be - based on the impression I get from yours and Grace's channels

Can you do a work desk tour?
I would but there’s literally nothing to show lol we have an open floor plan-which means that when you come into the office you can sit at whatever cubicle you want. The downside is that you can’t leave anything there or personalize your desk area😔

Are there any restrictions or clauses pertaining to social media in your contract / employment agreement? You are very active on social media, just wondering how that works in your new role.
Yes, the firm has a strict social media policy regarding what I can say/cannot say surrounding the details of my role & internal firm-related matters. As much as I’m active on social media, I make sure not to disclose any facts that would expose myself or the firm to any risk. Of course, I’d like to share more with you all openly, but working in the securities/financial services industry limits me from being able to talk about specific projects & tasks that I’m working on in my role. However, I still plan to share as much as I can about my life & post-law school journey with you all☺️
Are you an attorney or just working in compliance?
She is an attorney to be ( she passed her bar exam and waiting to be admitted to the bar)

She is working in compliance. She passed the bar but her position does not require a JD or bar passage, although it does give you an advantage in the hiring process. Good question!

It would be interesting to see what you are atually working with at work rather than basically do a 14 year old tik toker vlog.
Unfortunately, I can’t show what I’m working on because that would go against the social media policy & other confidentiality safeguards my firm has in place. On a daily basis, my role revolves around handling very sensitive private/material non-public information, which is why I haven’t filmed/posted work-related content in well over a year. I understand people generally want more detail in these videos, and when I realized I couldn’t deliver that, I stopped uploading altogether. I’m sorry.
