Villages Nature Paris VIP-Cottage

In August 2021 we stayed for a Mid-Week at Villages Nature in Paris. The Resort is situated closely to Disneyland Paris (bus-trip about 25 min, 2 euro pp). The resort is extremely spacious and has the best swimming pool of all the Center Parcs / PVC Resorts. The VIP-Cottage (4p) is luxurious, with a large living room, a bath so big it requires advanced swimming skills, and has a great view over water. However, there are a number of downsides that unfortunately need to be mentioned:
1. Cleaning could be way better. Although the cottage had clean floors etc, the windows were extremely dirty, as can be seen on this footage. 2 Years ago we rented another (6 person) VIP-cottage that was not cleaned at all: pubic hair in the bathroom, defecation in the toilet, dirty towels, and a full trash bin, as dirty cutlery. Numerous complaints directed at the front desk resulted in so-so cleaning after 24 hours. No service whatsoever. Unfortunately the cleaning issue is tough, looking at the TripAdvisor reviews... Therefore it was a bit of a risk this year, but expecting the worst, this time it was ok.
2. No Airconditioning. In the summer, the cottage can become very hot. Because of musquitos it is not to be advised to open all windows at night. Airconditioning should be included. We were prepared because of all the TripAdvisor reviews and brought our own airco with us ;).
3. The resort advertises on being eco-friendly. So trash must be separated. However, looking into the big trash container all trash is collected together. So no separation at all.
4. The checkout time is 10 AM. If you are bringing your luggage to your car: be sure to leave the door of the cottage open, because your electronic key doesn't work anymore from exactly 10.00 AM.
All-together I think it is still worthwhile visiting Village Nature, but be prepared on the issues that I mentioned!!!
