CBCT in Dentistry: What Is A Cone Beam CT

CBCT xrays allow us to take quick, precise, low-radiation 3-D images. In dentistry it is useful for many applications: identifying pathology, dental implant planning, root canals, and any type of dental surgery planning.
Hopefully I didnt get too nerdy here, but this is a brief summary about CBCTs and their use in dentistry. The CBCT we use at our office and absolutely LOVE is the ‪@KaVoDentalGmbH‬ OpMed 3d with InVivo viewing software.
