My eyes are watering with beautiful memories of seeing him back in 2013. His voice started out rough, but as the show progressed you could hear those golden vocal chords of his getting warmed up. By the end of the show he sounded unbelievable. That voice which had commended all those awards over the decades had everybody's attention.

RIP Kenny. You and the movie "Urban Cowboy" made country popular in Guadalajara in the 80s. Sheena is one of those very rare artists who sound BETTER live than in their own recordings. I've been a fan since day one when I was 19 growing up in Guadalajara. Moved to NYC in '86 and got the privilege to see her live at The Ritz (previously Studio 54) in '88 when she was promoting "The Lover In Me." Jaw dropping. Saw her again about 15 years later performing at some outdoors show in Coney Island with other artist. Still jaw dropping.
It takes a LOT for me to like a cover more than a Bob Seger original, but these two absolutely knocked it out of the park with this duet! This is the version I always hear in my mind when I think of the song.
