Hey Max! Loved the review! I have the cousin of the 1070PBZ that you have in the 1070FM. It's pretty much like the 1070PBZ but has an african mahogany body with a flamed maple top and an Original Edge Tremolo (like on the Japanese Ibanezes). In my opinion and experience, the 10XX and 11XX Premium series are pretty much as good as Japanese Prestige guitars, bar any QC inconsistencies. It's a lot of guitar for not a lot of money!

I have the 1120PBZ-CIF and I like it as much as I like my Prestiges.
The neck feels great, the Edge Fusion pickups are great in my opinion, the tremolo is alright. Maybe the guitar needs a bit of time to get accustomed to it because it feels quite stiff compared to Ibanez Prestige-Guitars for example.
But in the past sometimes I had a Premium-line Ibanez that had some issues. I think the most common is that the high E-String is to close to the edge of the fretboard that it slips off when you come close to the rounded edge while doing a vibrato. So I would recommend to check for that.

Probably de pickups are not F-Spaced, I have Fusion Edge on my RG Prestige and they match the strings, cause they are F-Spaced. For me, from what i have see in the Dimarzio forum they advertise the fusion edge like a mix of D-Activator and Illuminator. For sure Dimarzio quality sound, like the big ones. Just balanced in EQ differently.
