    For those of you getting all bothered about the avocado, I've had chocolate avocado cookies before and they were SO good. Cocoa powder has a strong taste so it masks the avocado pretty well

      "chocolate is not guilt free"

    • @rollofthedice4616
      @rollofthedice4616 Před 6 lety +39

      Stephanie Boyd well heres your answer
      1. Cocoa powder isn’t classified as chocolate, it’s an ingredient in chocolate.
      2. You can still feel guilty while eating these because some of them are really unhealthy.
      3. Chocolate can be eaten without guilt by some.
      4. Nobody is going to bother making some of these because you can buy better and/or HEALTHIER options that are the same thing.
      5. Nothing about this is “healthy” because coconut oil is saturated fat which is extremely unhealthy
      6.There are never any vanilla recipes.
      Shall I go on? Nothing is ever free from hate, so you just have to suck it up and deal with it.

    The fact that we need "guilt-less" and "guilt-free" food shows that our society makes us think that there are foods that we "shouldn't" eat. Nobody should feel guilty eating something they like. "Everything in moderation." is a phrase that we should learn and follow. That's all I have to say on that matter at the present time.
    I agree that chocolate and avocado seem strange but to each their own. I also don't like bananas but that's me. It was a well made video and I thought it was interesting.

    • @taylamuller1811
      @taylamuller1811 Před 6 lety +23

      The guilt free aspect is mainly focused on people who for example would like to lose weight or want to eat healthier and these are just the healthier versions of all the things they crave, it's not a fact of society, it's a fact of some people not wanting to eat the amount of extra butter, flour and not so good things that may be in certain foods they like.

      The trick to cracking eggs is to hit it hard enough that you can break the shell into two pieces
      Edit: also this trick my mom taught me is to crack the egg with a table knife/butter knife (not the cutting edge, the other side, but not the handle, hold the handle. Pretty much just flip the knife). It’s better than the edge of a bowl because it’s thinner so it will be more precise

      It is. Just buy 100% chocolate. There's no added sugar, sweeteners, or chemicals in there. And it has almost no calories!
      No calories = no guilt
      But it's pretty bitter, so you maybe won't find it tasty. And it costs like 5$ a bar, so it's not the ideal chocolate for everyone. I think, that chocolate is the darker, the better, so I enjoy the 70% and more the most.

    how to make any recipe guilt-free:
    1. eat food of your choosing
    2. don't feel guilty*
    *it's pointless to feel guilty about what we eat and we never should! it is important to give your body good, nutritious food and establish healthy habits, but it's also good to nourish your mind and soul by treating yourself and satisfying cravings. It's possible to have a healthy diet while still eating things you love like desserts (:
    -someone recovering from an eating disorder

    • @caelinjohnson775
      @caelinjohnson775 Před 4 lety +1

      @Ai Sian well it's all about balance and moderation. It's not great to overeat everyday (even with healthy food) or have junk 24/7, but there's no point in feeling guilty about it- it's not good for anyone or anything. Just move on and try to eat better for you and your own health- NOT to be be skinny or appeal to other people. Figure out a healthy diet that works for you while not being too restrictive about your intake or obsessing about what you eat and your appearance. That's the least healthy thing you can do. If you try to banish not-so-great foods that you love completely from your diet, that can create a binge/restrict cycle that's awful for you- both your mind and your body. Hope this helps (:

    So many of these recipes have banana in them, that this video might as well be for girls who are on their period or who are close to having their period because many of these recipes would reduce cramping and provide much needed potassium

    • @SamirCCat
      @SamirCCat Před 6 lety +6

      Menstrual cramp has nothing to do with potassium. It's the uturous normal cycle, un-preventable. The muscle cramps you can get from low potassium - and then it needs to be very low - are completely different since it's the electrical signals going through your nervous system, that are faulty. Few people have such severe potassium deficiencies when eating a normal, sensible diet. I don't know where you got your idea from, but unless you are actually deficient in something, it makes zero benefits of increasing your intake of it. Too high potassium is also dangerous and actually more common.

    I think it is really wrong to infer that these recipes are healthy and 'guilt-free' when they are full of saturated fat and sugar. Coconut oil is saturated, that's why it is solid, it isn't healthy.

      They didn't imply in anyway that this is the type of stuff that you could have as if it were a salad. This stuff is just the healthier version, like those brownies are definitely healthier than normal brownies that have a lot of butter and flour in them, they are guilt free because at least you know you are having the healthier option, don't get so butt hurt.

    • @Lala47362
      @Lala47362 Před 6 lety +2
