    Regarding prompt engineer:
Do you need basic understanding of all the other software skills in general before becoming a prompt engineer?
For example. If you were to learn ‘AI’ and be hired as a prompt engineer, how do you know the results you’re yielding from CHATGPT etc are correct and actually going to be good for the company. Whether it be copy, web design, coding etc?
I want to learn AI but my computer knowledge is lacking, just trying to gauge the best starting place to dial in a remote career.

You don't need copywriting when chatgpt can do it better faster and easier.

You need to know enough to evaluate whether chatGPT is outputting a good or bad result. And enough to fine tune it to make it better. Seems to be the same with any skill. But I'd love to hear if you've had a different experience

Don’t agree. Haven’t seen any persuasive copy for purposes of conversion from ChatGPT that beats a world class copywriter. The good news for me (because I’ve been studying copywriting for 30 years to use in my businesses) is that the polished “junk” ChatGPT generally spits out has convinced most of my competitors that they don’t need to focus on copy any longer.

@@MylesDunphybut then what if I learn prompt engineering, that way I won't have to understand copywriting in a great detail.
Even if I do web design, prompt engineering can replace this skill.

Copy writing is dead, chat gpt killed it, much more efficient and better skills to use chat gpt than learn it yourself.

@@Kobe_thfc I can defeat your emotion point within one prompt.
Hey chat GPT "take the emotional tone that Kobe replied and apply it to the next piece of writing I'm trying to do"
And chat GPT just stole your emotion. Boom
Copywriting profession will soon be in a museum
