  • Needle Felting is so much fun! I created this channel to share my felting journey through tips, time lapses and stop motion.
Here is Part 2 of me attempting to make a needle felted yorkie as a Christmas ornament. I've never made a yorkie before, so I decided to record myself doing it. This video shows all of my successes and failures in making this needle felted dog. The videos got so long, I had to split them into three parts!
In this part, I show how I made the ears and how I planted the fluffy fur.
If you are a beginner to needle felting, this video is for you! Actually, even if you've been needle felting for a long time, I'll bet there might be something here for you to learn, too. And speaking of learning, I'm always open to your thoughts and feedback, so please feel free to comment!
I'm Jules, and I'm an obsessed needle felter who loves making whimsical miniature versions of people's pets. I think sculpting with wool is magic.
Here are a few of the supplies I used here:
The core wool in this video is from some random Amazon shop and I'm not going to link to it because it's terrible. I really hated felting with it, and as soon as it's used up, I'll never buy it again.
The orange needle I use comes from Felt Alive (my favorite place to buy needles!) feltalive.com
The felting kit the awl came from (this kit also came with black plastic eyes, noses and a bunch of other useful things):
    www.amazon.com...
The glue (which I love because it dries quickly and is not messy) aleenes.com
    The felting gun: www.etsy.com/s...

I made this channel to document my needle felting journey, and show you all of the tips and tricks I'm learning along the way. I'm constantly learning and I also follow a bunch of felters on CZcams, and I think you should follow them, too! Here are some of my favorites:

Pam Duthie (She shares much more than just felting)

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Thank you so much for these videos. I like the length of them. Its easier to follow your details. I know we can slow down playbacks but this is much better. Thank you again for sharing your work so well. Its really helpful. Looking forward to part 3.
