What is ASMR?
It stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Most people experience ASMR in the form of tingles, which is often described as an electrifying sensation down your back. It's very relaxing and comforting but it can go as far as to help with anxiety, sleeping problems and stress. Though ASMR is not a medical treatment and I do not give medical advice.

For some reason this was one of the most interesting and textured 20 minutes of commentary I've ever listened to. Bouncing around all kinds of things. The swings and dives in the stream of information almost felt like an abstract sense of asmr in itself.

The story of Koi is so funny. Basically, as I recall, a Japanese entrepreneur was having a bad run and he decided to try starting up again. He took out a loan and started breeding Koi, literally big Japanese goldfish, and started advertising that "Owning Koi is the new symbol of wealth." And people just completely got swept up in the marketing. One dude just decided one day to try marketing a random thing and it became a staple of wealthy Japanese culture. It's hilarious and insane.
