120+ bottles in my collection and Xerjoff is by far my favorite house. Every month I allow myself 3 samples and 1 full (usually 30ml) bottle of something I've previously sampled. After i finish grad school the plan is to add an additional bottle of Xerjoff (must be 3oml & on sale) every other month for a year as a graduation gift to myself.

@@davesheffield3620 yh defo recommend a sample. It’s beautiful on strip plus air but if you’re unlucky you might have a skin chemistry that makes it smell funky when it dries down. Very similar alternative to it is Penhaligon’s Cairo which has a similar dna but less chance of that funkiness
40 Knots. Straight up phenomenal fragrance. Changes your posture when you put this on. No slouching with this.

The 2 Xerjoffs Justin convinced me to sample are Renaissance and 40 knots. I ended up getting full bottle of both, 40 knots as of right now is my fav but that can always change. Aft finishing my sample of enclave I started craving the fragrance again lol so I just ordered a full bottle of that as well. Great video Justin!

I want to thank you for recommending Renaissance in an earlier posting. I received my bottle last week and you're right, it's incredible! I had ordered 40 Knots right before I came down with covid and when it arrived, I couldn't smell anything. But as I gradually regained my sense of smell, I fell in love with it. Both are amazing!

I have four from Xerjoff, and I totally agree about Renaissance. It's in constant rotation in the warm weather and is one of my favorite fragrances
Renaissance is GOATed for sure! Of all the fresh fragrances I own, it stands out far beyond just being a pleasant scent, and gives me (and my girl) "the feels" that often accompany much darker and richer scents, while keeping the casual daytime wearability of a citrus freshie. It's perfection.
Casamorati 1888 is also a masterpiece in its own way. A "coronation fragrance" if there ever was one, it's timeless luxury in a bottle.

My favs gotta be Torino 21. There’s something about it that just puts a smile on my face. Probably the most well blended and invigorating mint fragrance I’ve ever smelt
I agree with you Torino21 is one of my many favorites from Xerjoff as well as Ivory Route and Kobe
Between that and Beach Hut Man by Amouage, you can’t go wrong with that fresh, green, citrusy mint.

The only Xerjoff I own is Nio and I truly enjoy the dry down of it. I just ordered a sample of 40 knots, Torino 21 and Renaissance and looking forward to testing them out.

It’s gotta be Torino 21 for me. There’s something about the effervescent mint & herbal combo that just makes me feel alive. The sillage from this one is great, especially when you start to sweat a little. When I wear it, I can’t seem to stop smelling my arm where I sprayed it.
My Xerjoff collection consists of Renaissance, Naxos and Tony Immoni Monkey Special. I absolutely love all three. My next Xerjoff purchase most likely will be 40 Knots. I love the content and information you share with us viewers. Keep being the best you can be in bringing the information. ✌🏽

Good to see Zefiro mentioned. When I tried a few fragrances in store Zefiro kind of disappeared, it really merits being smelled on its own in a more normal environment.
Naxos for me is a lot better after about 12 hours when the massive dose of honey has calmed down.
Zefiro is one of my all time favorite scents. Love that stuff.
I only own Renaissance and I LOVE it. I'll spray the heck out of it and respray even more through the day just because I want to keep smelling the opening and all through the dry down.
Don’t. Renaissance's sillage is a monster.
My mother-in-law is Cuban and cleans the floors with Fabuloso, a lavender scented floor cleaner. Naxos is heavy on the lavender and something about the opening has always reminded me of Fabuloso. I hated it at first but it’s grown on me.

favourite fragrance. And funny, as I‘m watching this video I‘m waiting for the post to deliver Renaissance:) Such an incredible fragrance, the way it develops after ~30 minutes is just amazing.
At the end of last year I was introduced to Xerjoff. Of course I had heard about the brand, and Naxos in particular. But I never tried it until the end of last year. Right now I have 3 Xerjoff fragrances, Via Cavour 1, Torino 21 and Naxos. But I also really want to try 40 Knots and Nio.
And now I´ll add Renaissance to that list to try out too, so thank you.
Man, you make me laugh so hard when you do the respectful digs at the commenters. I love it and it really just brightens my day. Now, brining it back to the fragrances - there's several here I want to get my nose on. Alexandria II, Uden, Renaissance, and 40 Knots are all intriguing. (Don't tell anyone 😉, but I'm about 5 years in my journey and I still haven't tried a Xerjoff. lol. It kinda sucks being so far behind in the world of fragrance, with soooo many houses to try. Maybe this will be the year I finally get some decants.)

Love Uden and Naxos, as well as Tony Iommi. I tried Uden Overdose recently and doesn’t improve over the original IMO, not sure if you’ve had a chance to try it. Looking forward to trying out Tony Iommi Deified sometime this year as well!

I love Uden and 40 Knots, but if I had to pare it down to only one Xerjoff from my collection, it would have to be Nio. Kinda like your description for 40 Knots... Nio just has a vibe for me. It's like clean white sheets on the clothesline on that first perfect spring day. You know the type... Sunny, 70°, light breeze. Fresh cut grass. Trees are blossoming. I see Don Corleone's backyard. With the orange trees.

Great list Justin! I have a good number of Xerjoff frags and one that is never talked about that is absolutely fantastic is Alexandria Orientale. Where else will you find apple, basil, leather, oud, and tobacco expertly blended into a fragrance journey. Beautiful stuff. Hope you can try it!

Bought blindly 3 of 1861 collection zefiro then naxos and finally Renaissance i never buy perfumes blindly but daaaamn this was absolutely wonderful decision that i did. And am glad the only 3 xerjoff i have are on your list
Zefiro is my favorite in the 1861 line, such a unique smelling perfume
Alexandria 2 is my most favourite fragrance it does something to me that no other fragrance I have ever tried has ever done. It makes me feel high and sometime even cry with happiness. I wore it to work and I just couldn’t focus. I never got it for the hype, I wish it didn’t so I could get a better deal as it’s very pricy. Worth every penny for me though.
I have 4 Xerjoff fragrances and Nio is my favorite thus far, followed by a very close 2nd with Tony Iommi Monkey Special. I intend to add 40 Knots, Torino 21 and Renaissance to my collection down the road.

Everyone loves Alexandria II because of the apple note from the opening and the heart notes of the lilly of the valley combined with the rose and the cedar. The oud it's not animalic but sweet and shapagne like and that explains what it's like to experience this composition: it represents the most beautiful apple champagne in the world, of all things.

Maybe it's just me, but I like A2 for the dry down. it's like a musky, woody smell similar to oud wood.

I really like this video. It is very interesting to find out where the fragrance reviewers rank this house. You, the perfume guy, and bowtie all are different people with different tastes in fragrances. Xerjoff is an amazing house, and We All have Xerkoff fragrances ranked differently.

My man, Renaissance is just so good. My wife doesn't like it that much but who cares, it's summer vacation in a bottle. My number one is Alexandria 2, for many reasons. I also have Naxos, bought into the hype. It smells good but that' it. Great video btw!
I only have 3 so far. 40 Knots is my favorite, I have to stop myself from using it. Just got Mefisto, so refreshing, elegant, very floral off my skin. Naxos is awesome. I get more of a pineapple sweet lavender combo on my skin. I love Xerjoff. Amazing price if you can nab a tester.
Have yet to own even one Xerjoff. It saddens me. Just have to save I guess. Definitely looking forward to it.
I have every bottle from your top 5 and I'd definitely rank them all in my top 5. I wholeheartedly agree Naxos is overhyped, even with how well it's done. Accento is another Xerjoff that's grown on me over time.

I’m so grateful you do these vlogs, I’ve never tried 1 fragrance from this brand. Your way of describing fragrances in a vlog, in the gracious ways you do without saying outright that it stinks, is incredibly intelligent. That’s why your my favourite fragrance reviewer.. I otherwise likely wouldn’t know some of these brands or what they smell like.

Zefiro is an incredible scent and it was well explained by you. I just had to let it go as it is not an easy reach and with 100ml it would last me till the year 2317
Nice variety! I only have Nio and Ivory Route so far. Ivory Route took a while to grow on me but I love it now, especially the dry down. And Nio makes me smell like fresh, semi-sweet grass in the summer, which I weirdly like lol. I sampled Naxos and don't get the hype to be honest.

I've tried Rennaisance and I agree it's a long lasting fenomenal scent, but I prefer 40 Knots and Torino21 which I bought them recently.
I don't have any Xerjoff perfumes yet, but I smelled most of the ones featured here and my absolute favorite is Renaissance followed by Naxos. the only reason I didn't get Renaissance is that they don't have a 50 ml and I don't want to commit to a larger bottle. No decant X here in Dubai unfortunately.
I got a sample of Alexandria II it does smells very Luxury rich to me. I enjoy the cola like opening. Does smells great.
Im with you, i think i like mefisto gentiluomo better than the og. The violet and extra floral notes i really enjoy. It also has more presence and staying power for my nose, which is a bonus. Unfortunately, I go nose blind to the og after about an hour or two. However, i have sampled Alghabra scent of paradise, and it really reminds me of mefisto (people compare it smw as well but its much more like mefisto to my nose), but i do not go nose blind to it.
Interesting that you find Naxos sickly sweet and medicinal smelling, I find the same to be true with another hype beast triumph of baccus (don’t kill me guys)
Omg finallyyy highlighted the Alexandria Armani Code connection! I thought I was going crazy 😂 I am actually semi anosmic to it….doenst come to me strong or beastly at all…and I always get that fainted Armani acode Absolute drydown like smell and thought I must be crazy…I sampled it 3 times from different ppl then went to the retaiñ store and smelled directly from the bottle to confirm 😄
I fell like I cant rate cuz of the fact that I cant fully smell it but if the Armani Code connection is righr then I would say it is overhyped…I enjoy Alexandria III more which I also cant fully experience it but tjat extra dark punch of the additional rose and oud makes it more interesting
I agree with your comments about Uden. I think it smells great . I also really like Fiero and Renaissance, great citrus fragrances Fiero more masculine and Renaissance more unisex. Kobe and Nio I've only had testers of them but thought theywere excellent. 40 knots I like but don't love wore it two days ago and thought I should wear it more often. I agree with your view on Naxos I also find it a bit to much honey sweet. So far there's only one xerjoff really don't like and that's Regio it's very challenging.
I've only tried a few Xerjoffs but most of what I've experienced from the house, I enjoyed. I've had a clone of Alexandria II for a while that I really like (the Alexandria Fragrances version) and also my favorite from them, Erba Pura (I have both the original and a clone). I recently got samples of Naxos and 40 Knots also. I'm a bit iffy on Naxos...hated it when I first tried it but warmed up to it a little. It's nice but I probably won't buy it. As for 40 Knots, I'm totally with you on that one...loved it from first sniff! Going to wear my sample more but I can say that's one I'll be adding to the collection.

I personally appreciate a few niche brands and Xerjoff happens to be among them. I enjoy to wear Torino21, and I've recently purchased Nio, but only because I found a very good deal. Otherwise, Renaissance would have been my second purchase. Either that, or Mefisto. I do like Naxos, I totally understand why people love it, but I personally prefer tobacco in different combinations, like in Amouage Royal Tobacco. I'm rather indifferent to 40knots as I'm one of those people who gets, mostly, elegant baby powder, perhaps I should revisit it one day.
Just picked up 40knots. I need a bit more time with it, I prefer Naxos a bit more but to be fare I’ve had it longer.
I have the Naxos 1861 and I freaking LOVE it. Actually the highest rated fragrance I own at 8.7......I haven't found anywhere around me that carries the Xerjoff brand so ill have to order samples.

Of what you listed I have Renaissance and Naxos. love them both. I recently smelled Mefisto and 40 knots I need a bottle of them. Not on your list that I have that I love is... Starlight, cardamom creamy cinnamon, I would swear there is iris in this but not said to be in the note break down.

Ivory Route is a fave, Naxos gets a lot of hype but i really love it. Maybe its just me or its a different batch but the tobacco is more to the fore? Its like walking into a humidor but with a warm sun-like honey to it that i really like. Zefiro is great too, i need to try 40 knots!

I have 6 Xerjoff fragrances. Ranking them is tough because I luv them all. Each serves it's own purpose.
In no particular order: Comandante, Renaissance, Tony Iommi, Naxos, Uden Overdose, Torino21.
Comandante is my easy-reach cool weather fragrance and will be my most worn fragrance for 2024. I freaking luv it. Uden Overdose is my fave summer fragrance in my entire collection. I just recently purchased Torino21. It is very nice but it won't enter into my rotation until June. Ask me in August where it ranks. Renaissance smells very high-end. Very elevated. A genuine warm-weather head-turner. It's gorgeous. If you are going to a summer daytime wedding, this is what you wear. Tony Iommi Monkey Special, for me, is only for cool weather special occasions, so I wear it the least of all my Xerjoffs. Everybody knows Naxos. I have had it a long time and it is very nice in cool weather.

I do have a fb of Renaissance in my 30+ bottle Xerjoff collection but sadly it falls towards the middle/bottom for me. Torino 21 & Mefisto Gentiluomo surpasses Renaissance imo. They just have that pizzazz that Renaissance lacks. Dont get me wrong, Renaissance has stellar performance but the scent profile just doesn’t have that wow factor. Nonetheless it’s a great scent but falls slightly short when it comes to ranking it in my collection! Much Love Justin, I enjoyed the video 👍🏽💯

My favourites: Fars, Comandante, Renaissance. I also like Golden Dallah, Uden Overdose, Naxos and a few others. The only one I did not like at all (and sold) was Erba Pura.
I purchased a sample of Alexandria ll and absolutely love it. It just doesn't work with my style.
I had a decant of 40 Knots, and it had been on my full bottle "buy" list for a while, until someone mentioned two little words; baby wipes. Now I can't _not_ smell that. 😆

Alexzandria II is one I couldn’t get with !! Smells like cinnamon and broccoli. When talking xerjoff Pikoviya Dama is the best work !! Simply amazing not only my favorite xerjoff it’s my favorite fragrance!

I own full bottles of a dozen different Xerjoffs & have tried many others. But I can easily say that I absolutely love how Alexandria II smells. It is so rich & smooth. I have nothing else in my collection of about 200 quite like it. Xerjoff is probably my favorite niche house.
Hmmm I haven't gotten my nose on Alexandria 2 yet. As a rose oud, I really do enjoy Odyon scorpion intense. Would you say it they're different from each other?

I have to try no 2 Mefisto, but I always heard that smells like CSMW, which is a very popular fragrance that I don’t enjoy it .
Love the haters lol. If you don‘t like the taste of the reviewer you should maybe just maybe consider that taste varies from person to person and you can‘t force other people to like what you like.
Also I’ve noticed that on my (Korean) skin certain fragrances will smell different than on my white father or black friends

I only have renaissance and uden as full bottles. I have Alexandria ll and gentleumo mefisto as samples and I like all of them for the right occasions.. I want to look into the 40 knots as a sample. Sounds like something I might like.

My 5 are your top five.. I’ve also got some weirdos like your mentioned starlight smells like almond oil, and the don… smells like gunpowder and melted brown sugar.. now I’m going to move my unique fragrances to Mercari because like you once stated why are they sitting there collecting dust.
i’ve been trying to figure out where that salty/dry powdery smell from 40 knots comes from and after recently trying Ambre Supreme by Les Indemodables, I think a strong real ambergris might be responsible for that smell. i could be wrong of course
