I'd be interested in a longer review of the trs-26. I'll probably be buying a few res dots soon and some data on the trs-26 vs. the romeo 5 would be great.
When it comes to using small amounts of paint on firearms I've always used nail polish. It seems to be durable enough for the task. Comes with it's own brush and it's easy to control how much paint you're applying. Comes in every color imaginable. Which is very useful when putting paint on sights. For my eyes, YMMV, green catches my attention the best. I was able to find a green that is absolutely obnoxiously bright and it catches the eye very well when looking for a front sight focus.
@@PalmettoDissident Good to know, you can either build a padded belt or a belt with a velcro inner belt. It’s your choice, like you mentioned, gear doesn’t have to be expensive. That being said, if you are looking for gear but for a lower cost then check out EBay or surplus sites/retail sites. Ebay is a great place for gear, you can even find gear like Crye Precision, Eagle Industries, London Bridge Trading, etc… for a cheaper price. Although they may be older models. It all depends what you are looking for. Also before you shop on EBay, be sure to filter the location to US only to reduce the chances of you being scammed. I personally filter mine to buy it now, condition new, militaria, and US only. I also read the reviews of the product as well as the person selling the product; how long have they been a member, how many products are they selling, and the amount of reviews they have (positive, neutral, and negative reviews).
Nice rig. PSA has never let me down.
Solid setup.

Nice, I was thinking about upgrading my TRS-25 to a 26. Good content here, great channel. Be safe.

Yep that works too. I like nail polish for sights.
That’s a nice looking red dot. I thought it was a trijicon MRO when I first saw it. Might have to pick one up.
Thanks they are cool fir the money. I haven't tortured it or anything but it's usable for sure.
I’m running the trs 26 on my 22lr hk 416 it’s a great range red dot.
I've been eyeing that trs26, that complete upper from PSA is a great deal.
Yes sir that's for sure.
Aero precision makes PSA stuff. Nothing wrong with them at all. Just got 2 of these dots for under $100
Good video n a nice setup
Thanks, sometimes I just ramble it's who I am.
Just bought a windham weaponry ar mid length. I've been looking at this one plus leupold and an AT3 version. How is yours holding up??
Still good lives on my wife's gun now. I like it for an inexpensive red dot.
Nice setup, keep it up. Do you have a battle belt setup by any chance? If so can you make a video of it sometime? Thanks.
Thanks. I don't have a battle belt but I have considered building one, I'm still undecided.

I put on e of these on my last build but haven't shot it much due to the ammo situation.
Cool. I'm interested in putting some miles on this setup when time allows.
Nice boom stick
It's my fave right now!
Any issue with the mount on your rail? I can’t seem to tighten it enough on my AR rail to stay firm, even with loctite it keeps coming loose..:
No issues for me. I moved it to a different gun that I don't use much though for what it's worth.
@@PalmettoDissident thank you, just curious as to why you don’t use it much, not happy with it?
Just not on my main gun. It's mine still works had no issues with mounting like you mentioned.
@@PalmettoDissident got it, thank you. Have a Merry Christmas!
NICE,
Thanks for watching
How long is that barrel ?
