- Thanks for waiting everybody! I tried to answer as many of your questions as possible while flying from New York to London to Rome. I began hosting, producing and filming travel shows on TV, then in 2016 I started this CZcams channel in the hope of sharing stories that were unscripted, spontaneous, filled with more heart and emotion than the travel shows or vlogs I saw that only showed the surface layer or tourist attractions. It has been a challenging year, and certainly as a CZcamsr I still have so far to go, but these adventures have filled me with tremendous gratitude and a desire to keep documenting the beauty and kindness of humanity all over the world.
I film and edit alone, travelling the world as a one-girl production company with tripods, my drone and multiple cameras. Although I am Australian, I have lived in many different countries around the world, including Italy, Japan, the UK, Spain and Monaco. I have studied Italian, Spanish and Japanese and I'm usually based in Italy.
I started this CZcams channel about 7 months ago and thanks to the support of such encouraging fellow dreamers, filmmakers and travellers around the world, I have decided to upload weekly vlogs to encourage others to travel, stay motivated and follow their dreams.

Kylie love your work, I don't get how people are not subscribing. You keep getting significantly more views than your subscriber count lol, usually its the other way around.
Not that you aren't a solid person already but if you do raise a family, you will be a boulder. I made the same trip to Rome from the US via Heathrow two years ago. Had the chance to hop a train to Salerno to ferry to Amalfi, traveling solo the whole way. I agree with your advice on keeping plans open and loose so you can slow down and really enjoy each moment. Later in the year I hope to go to either Portugal or Spain. Of the two, which do you prefer? Love the videos by the way. I have your cooking ones on in the background when I cook on Sundays. ❤️❤️

I completely agree about going to places and eating alone. Lot of people in society sometimes think a person who is alone is usually a "loner", which isn't always the case. When I started doing it, I used to get afraid and care what other people might think of me. Now, I realized no one care and which lessen the weight and I enjoy doing it a lot. Heck, I start going to hockey game alone when my old friends didn't want to come, haha. Even traveling to new cities on my own. So much fun and talk to cool people. I think at the end of the day, if you are curious about something, better to check it out on your own. If you meet people that are interested in the similar things as you, thats great.

Because for now I'm simply planning to work in whatever business they accept me, and do as much videos and pictures possible during my free time to build a strong portfolio and improve my skills.
I honestly think that being attractive helps in that first step of making people to be open to talk to you, then of course, personality follows.

I was supposed to go to Sicily this December, but with Corona Virus plans changed. so the next best thing was for me to see Sicily on You Tube, that's where I found your channel. My grandparents are from Marsala Sicily so I wanted to see where they were from and see the culture get a feel for the people, the food and so on. I love your video's, your information was great and your very entertaining and cute as a button. Your Italian is good, when you are in Sicily can you still use your Italian or do you also speak Sicilian.

I enjoy Kylie's videos so much I only suggested a way for her to monetize them to she can keep them coming. The production values are high and the quality and composition in each video requires a lot of time and effort. Then there are travel and accommodation costs. Perhaps these videos are a high class hobby and Kylie has a 'real job' and works as a consultant or something similar but its entirely her own business how these great short films are funded. All power to her I say.

Another great video Kylie, but you need to learn how to travel lighter. Way too many pieces of luggage. My wife, and I follow the Rick Steves method of traveling, and travel with one carry on no matter how long the trip. We had a 6 week trip last year, and did it all with one carry on.
