Usyk's team didn't make a complaint, they were commenting on the way the canvas was in the ring that was used in the public workout because the joins of the canvas weren't flat. So they asked to see the actual ring that will be used for the fight, to make sure it's to the correct standard set out in their contract because the ring used for the public workout wasn't to the correct standard, and they just wanted to make sure, so that it could be corrected before the fight if it wasn't to the agreed standard. Fair comment, no mind games.

Usyk said in an interview he's only a few pounds heavier, he's increased by a few pounds in each heavyweight fight, gradually grown into the size. A few extra pounds wont make a difference to his movement, but might give him a little bit more power.
It seems to be a common theme. They feel obligated to put weight on. However, i don't think he had put too much on. Probs around AJ weight.
