All these people nowadays praise Perez but this is how I always have remembered him…

Well, Hamilton did nothing there. Perez lost the car before reaching Hamilton. The same with Raikkonen, Perez took that corner with a very high speed. When you are on the outside you have to take care a little bit, you can’t do the corner at the same speed as when you make the normal line. 2 mistakes from him in my opinion.

Raikkonen forced him there. Watch the drivers again. Even Brundle mentioned this later. Raikkonen left him out to dry.

@@ciaronsmith4995 But, for me Raikkonen did nothing wrong. He is next to the kerb at the beginning of the corner and when he sees that Perez is going to go off the track he took the racing line. Obviously Perez had to keep the same speed because Raikkonen didn’t lift his foot, but for me Raikkonen didn’t do anything wrong. It’s racing.

@@ciaronsmith4995 Raikkonen was utterly unimpressed with Perez' shenanigans. See ya, punk!
That's a great clip. But I wish there were more camera angles. It's very instructive.

it's because that was the 2nd time Perez tried that move on Hamilton. the first time he went down the inside and got past him, but now in the video Hamilton is too smart to let that slide again so covered the inside as you saw
Perez didn't have a plan B, went in far too deep and spun

Since I already gave my opinion on Perez racecraft which I already commented he is awful or mod when ot comes to racecraft.
I want to know you guys opinion on this question.
Ranked best to worst Alfa/Sauber driver when they are at the team between Leclerc, Ericsson, Giovinazzi, Raikkonen, Bottas and Zhou?

Pérez is the def of entitled, mid driver with mid race-craft, many forget he was brought in F1 because of Carlos Slim, especially his lunatic fans

Checo is a good driver but when you’re up against drivers of absolute world class caliber you’re never gonna win. You can have the odd race win but not on a consistent basis.

Hamilton actually did nothing. Perez was the one that was way over his head.
But similar is with Räikkönen. You may say that Räikkönen forced him wide, which is fair. You may even say that Räikkönen didnt leave him enough space, which is somewhat fair as well. But i simply get the impression that Perez remembered how Räikkönen passed Fisichella in 2005 on the same track, so he probably thought "Its easy to do that. Let me show you"..........followed by a fail.
And Perez not having enough room................to me it seems more like Räikkönen initially gave him enough room but we've seen multiple times that when some drivers are wheel to wheel and only have small space to work with on the track, those drivers tend to crumble and run wide on their own to avoid collision. Meaning, not everybody can pull a Räikkönen vs Schumacher in Brazil 2012. You have to be a special driver for that.
It seems to me that exactly that is what happened and once Räikkönen saw that Perez went wide mid turn and out of the track, he used the space he initially gave Perez. But then again, seeing what happened in the video from that angle is a bit hard to see how much space Perez was given.
