- Here's an iPhone 11 that is restarting every 3 minutes due to a "Missing Sensors: Mic2" problem. With the help of the Panic Log, we were able to track down the reason why it's randomly restarting, was due to the power button flex. The microphone on that flex was damaged, causing the Mic2 to go missing. Testing with known good parts confirmed the issue was just the flex & not something else.

Recently got my phone repaired and at a repair store and this happened. The "technician" told me that he only switched the screen and it was a software isssue, as if messing with the hardware doesnt affect the functionality of phone. Its crazy how uneducated he was and i had to come to youtube to figure it out after paying $150 to get it repaired. Thank you for this, much appreciated.

Thanks for this! I was able to find out the issue for my phone was from TG0B and TG1B connectors on the battery were the issue, this helped in understanding what the panic log meant to find the issue.

Just a suggestion, you do not need to download this panic log tool to determine what the issue is at hand. There can be privacy concerns with sharing these logs because a panic log dumps metadata info on many things and among those are apps you have downloaded on your device. Generally, the top portion of this log will give you everything you need and so there is no point in using an "analyzer" tool. The panic log cheat sheet provided by the publisher is all you really need. Remember to stay aware of what information you are sending to other programs, websites, apps, etc.
i know the developer of the Panic Log Analyzer and I can assure you he's not doing anything with the data. The tool is open source and you can view it on Github.

Disgusting how Apple intentionally cripple devices by force restarting them every 3 minutes for missing/failing components, and not giving the user a popup saying a particular part is failing and disable it if it's a non critical component (such as the secondary mic as in this video)
I'm facing a similar issue with wireless charging flex on a less than week old 14, that ironically is less than 24 hours after trading in a slow but working SE. I'd quite happily disable wireless charging/Apple Pay, hell I'd even allow it to only charge up to 50% if it was a battery issue. Car manufacturers' figured out about 15 year ago to give a degraded experience when there's a sensor problem and introduced limp home mode, windows PCs have safe mode, Come on Apple give us something that doesn't make devices into expensive (light) paperweights
Does it say missing prs0 in analytics? How do you know it is wireless charging dock and not Charging Port Dock Mic Flex

Similar problem for me as well. My dropped in Water, damaged the screen which also caused the phone to constantly reboot/Loop over and over.. I went to a local phone repair booth in the mall, Paid for a new screen but it was still looping…. The guy cut the strip that connects the Facial ID and it finally stopped….. BUT NOW, a few weeks later its doing the same thing, but worse. I’m stuck at the Apple logo.
Overall, I believe the issue is the component attached to the Facial ID strip. My opinion would be to order that specific piece online or get another pre-owned iphone from a pawn shop & have it put into your phone. I believe the phone itself can’t communicate with the Facial Recognition sensors, so its constantly shutting itself down. However, having it looked at professionally is always the best 1st option

Very useful video! I worked on my iPad Pro 11 A2228 and after fixing dot projector with jc Romeo chip, I got random reboot. With iDevice panic log analyser I found that TG0B was missing, then I reopened it and found out a flex close to battery connector was disconnected (by me for sure). Thanks a lot!
I doubt the flex was the issue. Most likely the battery screw was not in correctly.

when i updated to ios 17.0.3, the issue was there and my wifi and bluetooth was grayed out but downgraded the ios to 17.0.2.
the issue is the same but my wifi and bluetooth are working.

thank bro， my phone 14 couldn't charge three days ago. So, I changed to a new Charging Port Flex, but my Proximity Flex Cable was broken when I took the screen down. Then my phone started 3 3-minute restart until I watched this movie, I thought my new Port Flex had some problems. And I will change to a new Proximity Flex Cable tomorrow, wish me good luck.

1) At 11:38 what do you mean by "air drop" to yourself? Send by Text msg?
2) So the isaasue was BOTH a bad mic flex AND and bad power button flex - Im a bit confused
Airdrop the panic log file (.ips) from the customer's phone to your own phone
There is a mic on the power button flex. The mic portion of the flex was damaged as show in the video

You look at other keywords in the panic log.
You look up for other solutions on the repair wiki guides i linked in the video description
