I have never used a slip bobber for walleye before, but I sure will give it a try now! 28 inches is my personal best walley and I am wanting to break that record this open water season.
Def give it a try. It can be alot of fun. My dad and I used to night fish for them shallow with lighted slip bobbers. Lots of fun

I checked the Clayton CZcams channel earlier today thinking there had to be a video I missed. Little did I know I was just a few hours early. 🙌 This is my first open water season after being a die hard ice fisherman for the last several years. Went out on MN opener and put my first 3 open water walleyes in the boat. Loved every minute. Looking forward to more videos! Maybe, just maybe, I'll catch a big one on one of those new bobbers this year!😉😂

Good to see Clayton open water videos. Missed opening weekend but hope to catch 29” walleye with slip bobber. A couple eaters would be great to start the season !!!

I use slip bobbers all the time for crappie and bluegill ! Love it when the cats start hitting them too.
Bobber setup is an awesome walleye tactic. I use it frequently.

Love slip bobber fishing, caught a very nice 24” walleye tonight on one!
I feel like I've been using slip bobbers for 15 years at this point. Love them. Personally a fan of the boss 1.25" slip bobber. Love the colors and the way it sits in the water. Mostly use them for crappie and bluegills.
