I have been following your CZcams for more than a year plus catching up on the videos in the archives. Beautiful family. Great sailing adventures. I lived in SE Poland for almost two years in the early '90's. Many visits to Warsaw and Krakow. The city where I worked was Rezeszow employed by Alima-Gerber. This was very early after the Communist government fell. Your train trip to Warsaw prompted my comment as I often traveled from Rezeszow to Warsaw and return in the winters by train when the roads could be difficult. My fondness for Poland and the people of Rezeszow is forever strong.
Thanks for the view of the old docklands. That was a momentous period of history for Poland - I am fortunately old enough to remember it. I look forward to seeing the episode on Diesel vs Electric - should be interesting to hear what decision you have made and why.
What was the old three masted sailing ship...at the begining. Docklands developments world wide..tend to look similar unless they keep enough of the original fabric and buildings. So putting conservation status on the cranes is vital. The biggest i know of is the giant travelling crane at the old Harland and Wolf yard in Belfast ..near where they built the Titanic. Old Gdansk looks great....in spring and summer it must be a real honeypot for tourists.😎 The interior finish .... Whatever she says...😉🥰👍🏼 One point if your going with solid timber tops engineered timber is usually more resistant to warping and cracking and as you guys like hot tropical climbs that might be worth a consideration as with the density/wt of the wood used. 🤔 might also look at any sustainability certificate if its none European grown.🤷♂️ Nauti styles channel looked at a new Neel Trimaran and i mentioned you guys and another channel as owners and world cruisers. They also yesterday managed a sneak peak of the ultimate expedition monohull ... Beowulf.
