    Great video. I like that it is thin. More work than using 3/4 inch stock but much more elegant.

    Beautiful work, this is why I never throw away any scrap lumber (much to my wife's chagrin), you never know when it might come in handy. I went to your Etsy page (using the link you provided) but I could not find the phone stands. There were a bunch of military 3D models, but no stands. I'm probably not looking in the right area.

      Thank you so much and thank you for bringing the etsy thing to my attention. It didn't show the phone stand stuff for me either on the mobile app. But if I clicked on the listing sorter and then selected most recent, they showed up

      @@brummet_guitars And there they are! Thank you so much for showing me the way. I have a small bench top CNC machine (3018 Pro) that I've been meaning to drag out and learn how to use. Today I swapped out the motherboard, installed a bigger spindle (which is why I needed the new mobo), and tomorrow I'm going to tackle the X and Y axis extensions. Then the fun really starts. I may have to give those stands a go when I get all done.

    Dude! I have that exact same 1980’s Inca jointer / blocked off planer setup. I looked into getting a spiral head for it but was too complicated (with 3 model configurations to sort through and an 8 month + $800 wait etc.) so I may just have some carbide blades made instead. I bought a 3” battery power hand plane to adapt into rough edge prep and blade killer jobs to keep a good edge on the 10” Inca. Btw really like your phone holder design.

    Just curious, if you are going to chamfer them on the router table, do you need still to sand the tabs off beforehand? Will the router table not trim it off?

    • @brummet_guitars
      @brummet_guitars  Před rokem

      Ah, that's a good point. That might work. I've just always sanded the tabs off of anything I've cut out.

    Hi. These are very nice. Do the files you sell include measured drawings? I don't have CNC. Thanks.

    • @brummet_guitars
      @brummet_guitars  Před rokem +1

      The files are for Aspire, and V-carve. The dimensions can be measured in the software, but I did not explicitly include them

    What brand 12 degree bit do you use and where best place to purchase ? Also are the vector and tool paths in the v carve program your selling ?

    • @brummet_guitars
      @brummet_guitars  Před rokem

      This is the 15 degree V-bit that I use. I buy it from Tools Today. I'm not sure if that's the best place to buy it.

    Hi the I am new to your channel. I am particularly interested in this segment of your videos where you make cell phn stands. I have recently started making 5 just for my household and my wife took hers to work. Now everybody at her work wants but I can keep up because i have a fulltime job. My thickness of my wood stands are 16mm = 5/8 inch. What is the size of your stands and at what angel do you have the stands leaning at

      No problem, it's a Digital Woodcarver 2440 and I used a 15 degree V-bit to engrave them
