    Nice repair, You know these day you remove the back and discover two small boards. They have become throw away. What happened to owning a T.V for 20 plus years and it was repairable, worked the day you "upgraded to better technology" and put it in the bin.

    A nice fix, a tv that big you can't watch it 4 or 5 feet you wouldn't see the entire picture. Good job.

    Great video, and thank you for your helpful video. I just opened my Samsung back panel to check it out. it was perfect, but I believe while opening the back panel I scratched the bottom where the video display card and capacitors are located at.
    the first connector from the left is scratched , when I disconnect that, the tv stays on, but there is only partial pictures. Now my question is , can I replace only the first connector, or is there any way that I could fix it. I know the first connector is scratched and caused the tv to go off and on.
    I was wondering where could I order that skinny beard and what dies it called? thank you

    Hey, it's not the best you can do, you can still check the COF connectors. But, I do agree that the best way is to leave it. I'm doing the same in those cases. I've got one in our bedroom with exact the same lines ;). I try to learn more about COF binding, waiting on another iron for it cause the one which came is faulty. And will start to learn more about COF problems. Of course will post on this/my YT channel as well.
    Good luck :).

      Good Cof bonding machine with table and screen are over &10k. With the tv price today is not a good economical solution. And Sometimes is not the Cof it is the pixel lines inside the screen

    • @screen-protector
      @screen-protector Před rokem +1

      @@SOSfixElectronics agree, but why you have to have a whole table? And not $10k ;), I've seen a complete which we don't need, we can tinker ourselves, for half of the price. The microscope and display you can do yourself as well. The only thing that matter is the heating element. I paid for my soldering iron I think about $10 from Aliexpress and apart from waiting on the 2nd one cause my overheating, bonding is good with it.

    I've been playing around with my 70" I've seen many many videos using the tape methods and trying to figure out which side of the screen has the issue. I could never duplicate anything like I had seen on the videos but with trial and error, i started to see a consistency "fiddling" with the ribbons. Sometimes the tv would work perfectly without using tape but more often than not it wouldn't work. i would almost think this would be grounds from some large scale lawsuit/lemon law against Samsung 🤷‍♂. I have come to find out on the screen ribbon like where you put the tape, that the lines that are closer together are supposedly the clock signals for the actual LEDs and the wider areas where power supply circuits. Does that make any sense?? After the TV worked for a couple weeks it started acting up again so I put it off to the side and figured I would sell parts from it. I think that I might give it 1 more try and get a new roll of tape....spend more detailed time with it like you have and see where it gets me. If you have any more advice I would appreciate it

    Reduce the size of the tape to reduce the lines showing on the screen as you are covering too many data lines. That should make it better.

    Hello, thank you for a great video ! So sorry to bother but I have issue with my UN82NU8000 , the picture is sharp but very dark not watchable and I can't do any adjustment to make it brighter, I did all trouble shootings like an updated software, turn off all auto dim, energy saver and other possible settings. The brightness meter shows from -5 to +5 and doesn't react at all. Do you have any idea what and how to fix this issue? Thank you so much for your time.

    Can you help me....I have a Samsung 55" curve with no connectors (hdmi, usb, etc.) So it will only work with the One Connect box. I however have the Evolution Kit One Connect box. Unfortunately the cable from the box to the TV was damaged and as per Google can't be repaired. The cable on the other hand is very expensive and a normal Display Cable can't be used cause though the plug on the box side is the same as a normal Display cable, the side on the TV is opposites. Can this be converted to use a normal Display Cable ...?
