As I thrust my machine downwards, I noticed another mans machine, nose up, about to boom. He loitered me once more, with his big brown eyes. I boomed. I boomed until I had fully completed. I had, in fact, zoomed inside another man. Walsh noticed too, and noticing he noticed, he zoomed. At which point, I overwhelmed my machine into a hard flat turn, and as I overshot, I zoomed once again.
@@arcdecibel9986 They didn't start replacing the majority of DII's until after July 1917. Even just 3 months earlier in January the Albatros DII was in peak service with 214 at the front. At this time in 1917 there would have been quite a few Jastas in the area still using DIIs (Jasta 4, 8, 12, 20) among the DIIIs. Funnily enough, No.23 and No.19 Squadron SPADs would have been the only SPADs in the Arras sector at this time because all of the French squadrons were 50 miles south in the Nivelle offensive near Reims and also No.23 and 19 were the only English squadrons to use French SPADs during the war.
I use two different buttons on my T16000m at the top of the stick for zoom in and out. I have never found an adjustment for zoom speed in the game but if you set the repeat rate in the keybindings to "2" it should zoom in continuously when you hold down your zoom key. Set it like this in the keybinds menu and it should perform like mine in this video: gyazo.com/a62f61e78a277f31a3c1c45823340c81

Hi bro keep up the amazing content
Great video!
Ah, those must have been those crummy Albatross DV's. Versus Spads? No, thank you. Those poor guys didn't stand a chance.
Even worse, Albatros DII's.
@@-Batemen Why are those still flying in 1917? Just a game thing? I thought the Germans replaced all those with DIIIs, and later, the DV's.

@@-Batemen Looks like I need to refresh some of my history lessons. Thanks for pointing all that out!
What key binding do you use to quickly and smoothly zoom like that? I have a zoom bound on my hotas, but it's a much slower zoom than yours.
