Paul I hope you will feel better soon 😢❤, the first few days out of the hospital can be so difficult, and your body has gone through a major trauma ,with such major issues and surgery .Janiece you have been a major support for Paul during this time, I empathize with you both, I have had several surgeries and I have been a caregiver for a family member it's very difficult on both sides of the situation. Hopefully it won't last long 🙏 😢❤.

I don't think it could hurt to call the surgeon and make sure this amount of normal. Broke my heart seeing him like that and you not really being able to do anything about it. I hope the pain dials down soon. Take care and hopefully recovery will get smoother soon.
Be strong.. I've just been thru the reverse colostomy.. take deep breaths.. pray.. listen to some calming music.. It's very hard.. keep fighting..
I had my ileostomy bag taken down and got reconnected. Hard surgery. My prayers for Paul 🙏🙏

I’m so sorry for the pain Paul is having 😢 I’ve had several bowel surgeries including reversal and it took awhile for discomfort to ease. Hang in there Paul 🙏 I realize it’s easier said than done though. Praying for you Janiece as well. 🙏💗

You need to call the surgeon. He may have a volvulus or some bad adhesions. That happened to my daughter after bowel surgery.

I’ve had something like this happen & if you call the surgeon or doctor & tell him the amount of pain he’s in with the different pain medication they can give him a prescription for Dilated for a pitied of time, coming from his wife & telling him the night you had & the day Paulis having the surgeon or doctors can work with you with you advocating for your husband. And telling them it’s just not enough at times & not ok… please try, I’ve received immediate prescriptions from doctors when it’s that bad & remember to tell them it’s been since that pain med was stopped & this is just not strong enough right now. Good luck & my thoughts are with you both💖
How Paul done
He is okay, slowly but surly getting better
This is why i dont want my seton out. My surgeon wants a fistulotomy and i know those can fsil faul fail I cannot cannot pain like Paul is experiencing rn.
Get some Colace and Miralax. That will let Paul take the pain meds and keep things moving.
