    Neat, new Holley toys! I wonder if the startup fueling table's coolant temperature goes up to 999F so that dragster engines, without water coolant, can start their engines when the block is hot.

    As brought up by Eric in the comments, the VE table on the Holley setups are actually a percentage based VE table opposed to a volume based table. Just posted a correction video that talks about a way of converting volume based efficiency tables to a percentage table to work in situations like this. You can find it here: czcams.com/video/xIcswohOXEQ/video.html

    Awesome! I’m glad to see you go with the Terminator on this one.
    Just a couple of pointers for you...
    It won’t like the VVE numbers that you entered in the VE table. Think of it like a traditional Gen 3 VE table...typical numbers will be between 30-110.
    You’ll need to populate the Accel enrichment table with this system. It needs it for transient fueling.

      Yeah, I have a way of converting that I'm going to do a video on tonight. I am going to do the accel, just have gotten to that point yet, it will be on a final tune prep video soon. Thanks for the advice!!

    I'm pretty sure you need to scale the gauges to get the coolant temp to have a more realistic scale on the 2d/3d tables

    How can you do this with ignition timing? I have a 2015 392 hemi in a 1973 Dodge Dart and could use some help in this area...

    So I can use hp tuner to tune my truck even if i was to have the Holley terminator x ma Or would I have to run a stock ecm like PSI harness and ecm set up?

    I just purchased terminatorx for foxbody with turbo. Will subscription help me to be able to help with tunning of a ford.

    The holley main fuel map is using VE which is generally 0-100 values. Will the extremely high numbers from the VVE work?

    • @GoatRopeGarage
      @GoatRopeGarage  Před 4 lety +1

      We will find out! But good looking out! Might have to figure out a conversion factor!

    • @GoatRopeGarage
      @GoatRopeGarage  Před 4 lety +1

      Think I figured out a pretty easy way to convert a HP Tuners VE table to a percentage table that will get you in a good enough ball park to start tuning. Will have a video out on it in the next day or two.

    Hey man I have some questions on tuning the northstar. I am thinking about switching to aem from mefi. Do they support the northstar crank sensor now? My motor is in a buggy so full stand alone atm

      I would think so, but don’t quote me. Been too long since I’ve been in the AEM software

    Sorry for the basic question
    But isn’t speed density tuning based on the ve and map sensor?

    • @GoatRopeGarage
      @GoatRopeGarage  Před 4 lety

      Correct, but speed density is setup on fuel flow in the Holley units, which is fine, but my brain works better when thinking about the engines VE

    For coil on plug you need a cam sensor!!

    • @GoatRopeGarage
      @GoatRopeGarage  Před 4 lety

      Nope, ignition is driven off the crank

    • @MrMertstube
      @MrMertstube Před 4 lety

      Goat Rope Garage with cool on plug you need a cam sensor to tell the Ecu where # 1 cylinder is. If you were running a distributor a cam sensor would not be needed. Also need cam sensor for true sequential.

    • @GoatRopeGarage
      @GoatRopeGarage  Před 4 lety

      @@MrMertstube need it for true sequential but you don't need it for coil on plug, I've ran my car with coil ok plug in untimed sequential without a cam sensor and it works great
