Honestly I'm glad Simon finally reached some sort of closure, after all the guys been through, he seriously needed it. And I love the fact that even though there's magic in her world now, Fionna is appreciating the normal parts of life. It's great.

Prismo glitching, the fact the statue of Betty is now a statue of GolBetty in the town are some suspicious moments. The hints of more mystery, which so glad a season 2 was greenlit, as nothing itches my world building side than a final episode hinting at deeper mysteries...like Hilda season 3 did, yet declared its self the finale season.

@@kuroto7773 when Scarab is a wall shadow like Prismo, there is a blink and you miss it on Prismo's right side (left to the viewer) where he glitches a little, final moments of the season.
Loved your reactions! If you actually watch the final scene with prismo and scarab there is a quick frame where prismo's face glitches. Focus to see it. It's implied there are some after effects to fionna and cake's trips. Maybe they'll dive into that!
I assume Fionna and Cake's nightmare was to be interpreted as a possibility what might happen to their world if magic had returned, there is no guarantee if it will go back to how it originally was...Their world changed once, changing it again would not have "fixed" it exactly...
When the Adventure time writers want to hit hard, they hit hard. This series was emotionally intense

If a song and a quote from a cartoon are heard together repeatedly, your brain will make the connection

@@willowarkan2263 Yeah. I think it's pretty heavily implied with his actions and appearance that, before Betty fused with him, Golb was a baby. He had no real goals, and while he represented an idea/concept, his lack of intelligent action is ironically a large part of why he's considered the embodiment of discord. Then, when Betty fused with him, they became "Golbetty", something that still represents the same thing and has the same power, but doesn't cause destruction to do it.
I could talk for way too long about why Golb is important for the multiverse and how the disruption of order ties into "No, we made our choices. *We could have made better ones,* but I don't have any regrets".

that Golb was in essence a nascent god of something that could be interpreted as destruction, or discord or chaos, but as Golbetty they are shown to be able to literally canonise a dimension, changing the order of the multiverse in an act of mercy.

You know, I have one question after seeing this season finale : what happened to Jay's family ? Are his dad and siblings okay ? They better be in season 2. If we don't see them again, that's sad as hell.
Would Jay have left if he wasn't sure his family would be okay without him?

It's more like Simon didn't know Betty was just blindly following him, because, at the same time, he was blindly going along with her choices. It's like being a follower and not knowing you're the leader. Simon didn't know she put him on a pedestal, because he saw her as a literal princess, his whole world. Bro was so love dazed he didn't realize what was going on.
One of my biggest disappointments was Fionna never lost her arm. It's been one of the biggest constants between the Finn variants, and picking up a sweet unique prosthetic in one of the universes they hop through would have been a cool additional "world is slightly more magic, but still mostly normal" thing like Cake, the Peppermint tank, and the released egg people running around. Could be interesting in a season 2, or maybe have it look like it's going to happen but then not to show her diverging more and more from "just" being a Finn alt (Ooh, or maybe a leg? That'd be a cool "different, but rhymes" thing)

I mean it would make sense why Fionna would not lose her arm...she was already kinda at her breaking point after traveling the multiverse and started to realize maybe having a life of adventure wasn't as great as she thought, she starts to appreciate her normal and boring lifestyle...losing her arm would've been too much for her...
Simple, Fionna is not Finn. She USED to be a female alternate universe verion of Finn, but this Fionna is 29 years old, had no prior experience with magic or futuristic technology, and she isn't an incarnation of a Catalyst comet. Losing her arm *during* her travels would certainly be an interesting twist on it, but one of the other things consistent with the Finns is that the reason they lose their arm has something to do with their parents (Finn lost his arm trying to make his dad stay, Shoko's arm was sold by her parents so they could buy a computer lmao, and while it's never explained how Farmworld Finn lost his arm, his dad isn't present there either), so I agree that it would have to happen in season 2.
Season 2 I think it'll have to do with the glitches that kept happening with the crown the garlic bomb etc.

You should also continue ur reactions of Harley Quinn if you ever have an opening for another show to react to, season 4 starts off ok, gets a little meh, but then the last few episodes are pretty decent, setting up what seems to be an interesting, hopefully better next season

This show as a whole was pretty great, but the finale wasn't so great imo. I mean, the Simon part was incredible. But I'm not a huge fan of the fiona part of it. This might be a hot take, but it's just my personal opinion
I mostly agree. Simon's story was nearly perfect, but Fiona's was not. The saving grace is that there will be a season 2. Simon's story is done, but now Fiona's can begin.
