The quality of your video photography and editing has improved greatly recently. You must have a new young man working the camera and editing! Well done. I"m in the market for a new HT since my Kenwood TH77-A recently stopped transmitting audio. It transmits the carrier, but no audio. I'll have to take a look some quiet afternoon at the schematic and pull out an old O-scope to do some poking around at the ususal suspects! I've had the Kenwood since 1990/1991 so I am sad that it stopped working. I have been looking at the Chinese radios and they almost seem too good to be true based on their pricing. Anyway, I"ll look at your videos on the radios you mention in this video. Thanks and 73!

I started with the 'fengs, got a Radioddity GS-5B, then got a TRu(sdx) - HUGE learning curve into HF, then at a HAMfest got great deals on a Yaesu FT-100D and an ICOM 756 Prod iii, but the Yaesu mobile is a shack-in-a-box and it has been so useful that I haven't even set up the ICOM base station yet.

I'll say there are others! It's mostly a catalog with a couple of articles begrudgingly included. 😂

Anytone and Vero make very good Mobile radios. HTs are really separate from mobile radios

Thank you for your videos, I watch them trying to keep my motivation up while studying to get my license. Here in Sweden we only have one, no option for technician or beginner, so I must know how to design and build a radio from electronic parts and know a ton of stuff. If I didn’t already know parts of this I have no idea how I would ever manage to get a license.
Unfortunately as it is hard for me who is good at learning, I wouldn’t even dream of suggesting to my wife or daughter to get a license. Sad really, and I do not see the Ham radio hobby growing in Sweden anytime soon 😢
