I think it was kinda just. Because there was a high demand for ninja or anime skins, and the knife is a very unique dual wield. And they did work extra hard on the skin bundle and unique final kill animation. So i think it was still worth it. As long as it doesnt become a normal thing then im fine with it.

The reason it costs more is the knife is the a new model entirely and not re-using any animations that other knives have. You could also argue the amount of animation work put into this one is a the highest amount they have done.
Every variation has a Different sound inspect animation it would make sense if the bundle was a little more expensive they added more detail to this set

In my opinion, it just shows how Valorant has grown as a game. Lets just hope that the extra money they are earning will lead to better maps and better agents in the future

Riot has already said thst exclusive bundles don't have fixed price and it will vary from bundle to bundle . Idk why so many people are acting as if it should be 8700 always.
In Call of Duty: Mobile a single legendary skin costs around $135. I'd take this over that any day

Just for this bundle sense it has a lot more animations then any skin
It’s because all of the skins have a pullout reaload sound ads and inspect but the other exclusive skins are missing 2 of those like some are missing reaload, inspect etc
They'll say "Oh it's a new animation, so it should cost more than the current most expensive bundle"

They’ve been doing this since the 2.0 bundles started coming out for Ion, Reaver, Oni. They overprice the knives that should be 3550vp for premium bundle. (Ion Karambit 4350vp, Reaver Karambit 4350vp, Oni Katana 5350vp) the really bad thing about this is that it makes so that these knives are not qualified to be in the night market. super cringe riot.
I am so lucky that I have simple tastes, I actually like the base skins and just buy gun buddies with game currency to make them my own a little more. These prices are outrageous, you won't catch me buying one single skin 💀

These days Executives pay people to analyse how far they can go that they make more money. If they think ppl will still buy a Red(thos 1750 VP skins) for 2050 they will do it without batting an eye. This is because nowadays game Devs are not the ones making the most decisions, those decisions are made by greedy rich executives who would probably sell out their own family if it meant it made them a lot of money.
